Phil,

If you manually disable dri in XF86Config-4 does X at least run? I've
seen similar posts on ati on main cooker.

Thx,

Update breaks X on Radeon

2003-01-06 Thread Phil Lavigna

Hi,

After updating a 550MHz TiBook with today's Cooker PPC packages from
ftp.sunet.se, X no longer works (crashes). The error message is:

"(EE) RADEON(0): [dri] RADEONDRIScreenInit failed because of a version
mismatch.
[dri] radeon.o kernel module version is 1.2.0 but version 1.2.1 or newer is
needed.
[dri] Disabling DRI"

This is with kernel 2.4.20-2mdk and XFree86-4.2.99.3-1.20021223.3mdk.

Bye,
Phil Lavigna

LOL! :-)

+ I've cc'd Denis... he should be able to clear this up for you in 24hrs.

A bit more, I'm overloaded. Send me the transaction details, and I'll make
sure you can use your account. No need to cc to list anymore.

CUPS - OpenOffice

2003-01-06 Thread Jeroen Diederen
I have an Appletalk printer configured with netatalk and CUPS on my
local server. I can print from the server as well as from my iMac. I
have cooker running on the iMac. I typed a text in OpenOffice and
selected the printer. Before that, I ran printerdrake and added this
printer to OpenOffice/Gimp. I tried to print the text from within
OpenOffice. The job is sent to the CUPS server (I checked that).
Strangely, nothing comes out of the printer. After a while the blinking
of my printer stops. In older versions of OO/cooker I could print to
this machinehas anyone an idea what is wrong here ?
