I would just like to say thanks to everyone who helped me get 8.2 up and
running on my old world G3. Some people at work seem to be starting to
like it, so at least that's encouraging for the switch for the other
newer machines.

I would simply like to post a big thanks to Stew Benedict, and also Ben
Reser (for is participation and help) to this mailing list. I mean, I see
complains everywhere, but never good postings. Thanks for bringing Mandrake
to the Mac PPC platform. One day, it will overrule i386 distributions.

Most people in the community are experts on something and newbies at
something else. Hence why we help eachother out. Myself, I have used Linux
for 9 years, but only a week on PPC hardware, so on PPC hardware I am a
newbie and need help... :-)

I would like to thank everybody on this list for their help and advice.  My 
newbie questions have been answered quickly and correctly.  From getting my X 
display configured correctly to enabling my wireless connection.

I've heard that the Linux community is very supportive and I must say that I 
am a believer.

I make my living working on SQL databases (MicroSoft and Sybase).  If there 
is somebody on this list who has a question about SQL please send me an 
email.  I'm unable to support the community with my Linux knowledge, but I 
might be able to help somebody with my SQL knowledge

Again, thanks to everybody who offers suggestions on this list.
