[CnD] Re) coffee grinder

2017-12-29 Thread Jennifer Sparks via Cookinginthedark
We have a Black and Decker coffee maker that grinds enough beans for a pot and
brews the coffee. You can find it on Amazon for not much more than fifty
dollars.

It does come out crispy. You cook it at about 375 degrees.

Lay the bacon out flat in the basket. Try not to put pieces on top of each
other.

We like to cook bacon in the air fryer. The grease cooks out, and the small
amount that remains drains into the pot under the basket and away from the
bacon.

Re: [CnD] MicroWave oven recommendations.

Panasonic makes some models with actual start and stop buttons. There are bars
on the number pad so you can find the numbers similar to some older cell phones.

[CnD] K-cup brewers

2015-05-27 Thread Jennifer Sparks via Cookinginthedark
We have a Remington Da Vinci brewer we purchased from Rogers Family
Coffee Company. You can use cups or pods and it has a capsule you can
use to brew your own coffee. Best of all, it has physical buttons you
push to choose the size of cup you want and a physical brew button.

[CnD] Keurig 2.0

2015-03-22 Thread Jennifer Sparks via Cookinginthedark
Hello, we have the Keurig 2.0 brewer. I had someone help me mark the
place on the screen where you select the cup size and the program
button. As long as nothing gets out of sync you can learn how many times
to touch that button to select the cup size. However, there is no
audible feedback from the machine, and you can't actually tell how many
times the button has been press. Keurig still sells an older model that
is accessible. Hope this helps. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention that
we used the stick on gel dots to mark the screen.
