high quality team members.

*DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:*
The MMIS ORACLE PL/SQL developer is responsible for scoping, designing,
developing, and maintaining Oracle 12c database objects including package
and package bodies, triggers. The candidate will work in a dynamic
environment with strong personalities and will need to be just as
assertive. Work on this project includes working with a data model that is
still changing and will need to work with the data modeler to identify and
fill gaps.

*Duties and Responsibilities include:*
• Work with a development team composed of non-database developers to
provide any needed interface routines.
• Support database operations and work closely with application and
infrastructure group for MMIS Replacement initiatives.
• Provide formal and/or information training in DBMS administration and
maintenance, database design, analysis, and management.
• Contribute to service design for a service oriented architecture
(SOA)-based system
• Ensure ORACLE database security, managing access to PII and PHI
• Database planning, scaling, and capacity planning activities
• Database design, index creation, database optimization, and performance

*Description*


   - Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to engineers on testing
   and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes
   - Works with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via
   automated testing
   - Responsible for managing the definition, implementation, and
   integration of quality principles into the design and development of
   software and IT processes
   - Involved in the review of requirements specifications for weaknesses
   in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability,
   and security and compliance testing, and provides recommendations
   - Responsible for developing manual and automated test cases and
   configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
   - Monitors and tracks resolution of defects, coordinating with engineers
   in order to prevent, report, and resolve
   - Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as
   defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
   - Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies



*Qualifications*


   - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer
   engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience,
   is preferred
   - 3+ years of experience in IT, with an emphasis on QA, and proven
   ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or
   performance tests, and managing defects
   - Experience with Web Services testing and back-end service/API tools
   such as SoapUI , HTTPClient, SoapClient, JAXB etc.
   - Experience accessibility testing (JAWS)
   - Ability to create client and server testing frameworks
   - Experience in white box (component) testing
   - Experience with Java test utilities
   - Experience in working with automated testing tools like JUnit, JMeter,
   Eclipse, Selenium (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium Web Driver), HP Load
   Runner and WireMock
   - Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional
   testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web
   service testing, and browser compatibility testing
   - Some coding experience across a variety of languages a plus (Java,
   JavaScript, HTML5, XML) is a plus
   - Experience with HP Quality Center a plus
   - Experience with Agile, Kanban or other rapid application development
   methods
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills
   - Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and
   challenges
   - Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined
   problems
   - Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in
   how fast they develop working software



*Preferred Qualifications*


   - Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation is a plus
   - Knowledge of web security and encryption technology is a plus
   - Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB
   - are a plus
   - Experience with payments technology and industry is a plus
