better idea in the 23 yrs of my existence. Congrats. Hope to be #324

I will open my coworking space in seoul. maybe next month.

Please keep in touch with me.

 finish my teaching job.

My only experience with coworking so far is as a former coffee shop
dweller and during a brief stay in Hong Kong I tried a desk share for
a day. Not true coworking experiences, but I know this is what I'm
looking for in order to continue working remotely.

I'd like to stay in Korea, so I want to know of any groups that are
coworking in Korea. If there aren't any, I'm looking for other
freelancers that would like to find a space. Seoul or Busan, I have no
preference. I'm in a small town in Jeollabuk-do now, and I want to be
 in a big city.

If there's no interest here, then I'll probably head to Japan or HK
where there seems to be some activity.

need to charge back your customers for their minute usage. This can be
captured with the administrative function with the service. Thanks

[Coworking] Re: Access card control for users

2010-01-18 Thread mitten
Some of the members at Workantile here have built out an RFID system
for the doors (using Arduino, I think). Right now, it just opens the
doors for keyholders, but they're building out the software to allow
for some more sophisticated usage. They're talking about doing some
'nights-weekends' only access (lower cost, for example, for grad
students in our college town) - so that's the kind of time-based
functionality they're thinking of adding.

In any case, I just wanted to suggest that if you've got 'makers' in
your membership, you might be able to get a homebrew system.

using to manage your membership and membership data? How do you manage
your assets (rooms / desks, etc.)? What do you use for online
registrations and reservations? Did you build your own? If so, do you
offer it as a web based solution to others?

Any input / support /recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

I just discovered this Coworking group (it's my first time using
Google Groups).

Foundry Coworking is a space in Des Moines, Iowa with a combination of
private offices, workstations, and open area to work at. We've been
about 18 months in the making and opened in November of 2009.

We're very excited to hear more about what everyone else is doing for
attracting members and providing value-adds like events/partnerships
in the community.

The most updated content for us is on facebook.com/foundrycoworking.
