[Coworking] Re: Coworking in Korea
i'm glad to hear that you are looking for coworking space in Korea. I will open my coworking space in seoul. maybe next month. I think this is the 1st coworking space in Korea. Most of my friends are working in a web industry. Please keep in touch with me. twitter @ejang / seokwon at gmail.com On Jan 17, 11:21 pm, ibid martin.mill...@gmail.com wrote: Let me introduce myself as recommended. My only experience with coworking so far is as a former coffee shop dweller and during a brief stay in Hong Kong I tried a desk share for a day. Not true coworking experiences, but I know this is what I'm looking for in order to continue working remotely. I'd like to stay in Korea, so I want to know of any groups that are coworking in Korea. If there aren't any, I'm looking for other freelancers that would like to find a space. Seoul or Busan, I have no preference. I'm in a small town in Jeollabuk-do now, and I want to be in a big city. If there's no interest here, then I'll probably head to Japan or HK where there seems to be some activity. regards, ibid -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group. Dev I plan on using WEBEX www.webex.com for my facility and offer it as a package offering for conference room rentals. $49 a month with up to 25 participants. Voice minutes you will need to select a plan and will need to charge back your customers for their minute usage. This can be captured with the administrative function with the service. [Coworking] Re: Access card control for users
Some of the members at Workantile here have built out an RFID system for the doors (using Arduino, I think). Right now, it just opens the doors for keyholders, but they're building out the software to allow for some more sophisticated usage. They're talking about doing some 'nights-weekends' only access (lower cost, for example, for grad students in our college town) - so that's the kind of time-based functionality they're thinking of adding. In any case, I just wanted to suggest that if you've got 'makers' in your membership, you might be able to get a homebrew system. - Laura -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group. Big congrats Steve! NWC will be organizing a field trip out to visit you guys and celebrate. Hello there, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am in process of setting up a flexible workspace with onsite childcare, targeting working parents of pre-school children. It's called Third Door and will be based in South-West London. It's a similar idea to Cubes and Crayons. We are just days away from signing contract on premises which is very exciting, although the timing is not perfect as I am doing all of this whilst looking after my 7 week old son and 2 year old daughter! It took a while to negotiate the terms of the contract but we hope to open in April 2010. I am so glad I came across this group as the information is so valuable. Re: [Coworking] NJ Coworking opening March 1, 2010
we are 4 months in and good old fashioned spreadsheets have held us up nicely. we use a sign in system, which we put on a spread sheet, for meeting rooms we have a paper diary, allowing us to change it quickly. we want to create an online system, but the time/money to install does warrant it yet. [Coworking] New Member [Des Moines, IA]
I just discovered this Coworking group (it's my first time using Google Groups). Foundry Coworking is a space in Des Moines, Iowa with a combination of private offices, workstations, and open area to work at. We've been about 18 months in the making and opened in November of 2009. We're very excited to hear more about what everyone else is doing for attracting members and providing value-adds like events/partnerships in the community. The most updated content for us is on facebook.com/foundrycoworking. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group.
