[Coworking] Two Rivers went live today in Prince George
Hi all. We're pretty excited - the signage went up yesterday, and we're live - not going to do a grand opening for another 3 weeks or so (hello Earth Day!), but the first two members have started working, and the meeting room is starting to get some buzz. We painted it with ideapaint, which makes a wall into a whiteboard. it's all going well. the beetlecrete countertop goes in the front window next week, (the stools are already there, so we'll look like a barbershop until the counter goes in. going to call it our laptop bar. Thanks for the tips shared in the group here. they've been helpful guidelines along the way to launch.. If you find yourself in northern British Columbia, be sure to drop in! I'd play off of pretzel because I just looked up pretzel and it says "often shaped like a loose knot" which at the end of the day is how coworking communities act once formed. Good ideas, thanks. Reading, Pennsylvania is known as "pretzel city" due to pretzel factories. There are also retail outlet malls. There is a Japanese pagoda that sits on top of the highest mountain overlooking the city, which gives me the idea Pagoda Pad or something like that. :) On Mar 24, 9:30 am, Thiago Leite wrote: > Naming is always a difficult thing. Nice to meet ya, Holly! I'm Thiago, from Recife, Brazil. Most my friends overseas call me "Vincent" so you may call me whatever you prefer. I'm currently planning my own startup offering social media and online presence advisory for small caps.
