Re: [Coworking] Re: Who's shopping for electronic door locks?

2014-06-04 Thread Citizen Space- Member Services Desk
Greetings Everyone,

This email is for anyone who is interested in Lockitron. We (Citizen Space)
have had a long history with Positron since 2010. We were lucky to have them
as members, and be one of the earliest users (for better or worst). I have
also installed one of the more sophisticated implementations of the product
at our sister space, Connection SF. The product is stable, and our members
absolutely love it. If you have any specific questions about the product,
drop us an email directly at mana...@citizenspace.us , or if you need an
inside connect to get you a lock NOW because you need it for your space.

You can also come check the product and meet the founders at the Coworking
Week 2014 in SF August 2nd-9th. If you would like to participate, you can
still grab 100% FREE tickets until this Friday at
http://coworkingweek2014.eventbrite.com/

Any space operators or brands interested in organizing your own Coworking
week event, or sponsoring ours can join our organizers conference call next
week by emailing us your contact info, and we will add you to the email list
of organizers.

Kind regards,
Toby

Re: [Coworking] Who's shopping for electronic door locks?

2014-07-14 Thread Citizen Space- Member Services Desk
Hi Everyone,

I know this is a reoccurring subject, so I wanted to stress how much we LOVE
Lockitron here at Citizen Space. The cost is very affordable for a small
space, for larger spaces they have a ³commercial² version which we will have
at Coworking Week next month. They don't charge any fees for ³keys² , so as
a coworking space you don't need to worry about can you manager 10 members,
or 2000. If your really interested in learning more & some hands on time,
come on down to SF for the Shared Economy Hackathon which is totally FREE &
sponsored by Lockitron & Apigee. Register for FREE SF Coworking Week tickets
sponsored by our latest sponsor: https://twitter.com/ECOsystmSF launching in
SF during Coworking Week 2014.
Get Tickets here: https://coworkingweek2014.eventbrite.com/ use code:

If you are interested in hosting your own Coworking Week event, you can get
all the info in this Google Group:

Anyone interested in sponsoring, or speaking at the Unconference on

Re: [Coworking] Who's shopping for electronic door locks?

2014-07-14 Thread Citizen Space- Member Services Desk
For the Connections SF Space I did implement Lockitron using a strike plate,
also tied FOB¹s to the system which could also be used for your hotel room
door, and to access the workspace doors. For members of the workspace only,
they use mobile devices to access the building of the hotel, and the door
into the workspace. They also have an API, so you can integrate into any
existing reservations systems, etc.

Jacob,

What are doing in SF? Make sure you come by to catch up, and please plan on
having lunch one day in our Food Truck park directly next door to Citizen
Space on 2nd.

Hi Ramon,

Yes, the URL is www.coworkingweek.com, we are working on updating the site
now, we can use any and all help, so if you are able to help in anyway, we
would appreciate the assistance.

We need help with the following:
Local Organizer Outreach (space owners and managers)
Sponsor Outreach (Local, and National)
Social Media (Content Creation, Scheduling, and Monitoring)
Updating the Website (its Wordpress)

We will be publishing a "10 Year Coworking Anniversary" logo in the next
week or so, along with a flyer template, and stickers that each local
organizers can print locally.

We will try crowdfunding Tee Shirts with the anniversary logo TeeSpring
http://teespring.com/

Anyone who has some bandwidth, and willing to help, drop me a line.

Thanks,
Toby

Re: [Coworking] Re: Coworking Day

2015-06-04 Thread Citizen Space- Member Services Desk
Hi Melody,

I totally understand that one space hosting an event for a week is
difficult. We suggest hosting a week because most cities have multiple
spaces that operate, and a week provides a good amount of time for each
space to host an open house to invite the public in. You need one
³organizing² community member, space owner or space manager to help
coordinate the events for each city.

We also need platform partners like yourself, please drop me an email
directly, and lets chat about collaborating.

Anyone lurking in the group and wants to engage (especially sponsors $$), in
kind trades, volunteers, etc, please reach out, my wife is pregnant, and I
can really use some help organizing this years events.

Kind regards,
Toby

[Coworking] Coworking Week Marketing Materials

2015-08-07 Thread Citizen Space- Member Services Desk
Hello Community,

In case you don't have access to the Coworking Week / International
Coworking Day (Sunday) marketing collateral, please use the Google Drive
link below.

We really encourage space owners, and community managers to use this as a
call to action for drop-in's who maybe interested in signing up, but have
not converted yet. Come up with some special ³Coworking Week² membership
deal would be very smart in my opinion.

Please find the official media kit on the link below. You will find our
official logo for Coworking Week International Coworking Day (Aug 9th), and
the 10 year Coworking Anniversary logo. There is also a ³I Love Coworking²
sticker design you can use for social media, and a Tee Shirt design!

If you have any events planned, email them over and we will add them to the
www.coworkingweek.com site, and the SF Eventbrite page here:
http://www.eventbrite.com/e/sf-coworking-week-2015-celebrating-10-years-of-c
ollaboration-tickets-17632162272

We are also requesting that anyone who wants to be the local community
liason for Coworking Week 2016, please email us, we are setting up local
³official² partners now so everything doesn't fall on my (Toby) shoulders.

Thanks,
Toby
