Hi, Tomorrow (Thursday, August 6) the Chicago/Ravenswood coworking space will be having an open house from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. I am not hosting the event but evidently margaritas will be involved. [Coworking] CHICAGO: Coworking space in ravenswood opening in July in Ravenswood
Hello all, There will be a small-scale coworking space starting in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago soon. Small-scale meaning six to eight coworkers. Soon meaning July 1st. Location: Ravenswood at Wilson on the N side of Chicago. This is within walking distance to the CTA Brown line (Montrose and Damen stops) and the MetraRail North line (Ravenswood station). I will be posting a web page to the wiki with more details and posting some pics as well. Right now a fair amount of work needs to be done on the space: knock down some walls, new paint and carpeting, etc... We are going to start work on the space this coming Sunday at noon. Just got back from the Ravenswood space. We (a group of four including Jeff and I) took a look at two spaces: the 1600 sqft space Jeff was metioning and an 800 sqft space. Ideally we are looking for - oh - six anchors of diverse backgrounds for the space assuming we went with the larger loft. We may or may not have that number already but if you are interested drop a line to Jeff. We may go with the smaller space if there is insufficient people for the larger space.
