[Csgo_servers] Interesting problem -> random 'suicide' by 'world' AND: "Client CMD out of sync"

Hey guys,

a team of us have a strange 'bug' or whatever on their warserver.
Sometimes (not often!) one of the players got killed by 'world' in the 
freezetime. It happened on different maps to different players. In 
January two times in one match and then 3 weeks without any probs and 
then again... The last time it happened was yesterday evening.

This is what the console said yesterday:

 03/26/2018 - 22:13:25: "X<13>"
   [-1520 431 -2] committed suicide with "world"

I really have no idea why this can hapen. Anyone here with any idea?

And: Another thing!

What could this mean:

   Client cmd out of sync (delta 14).
   Client cmd out of sync (delta 15).

could cause the problem so i hope someone of you have an idea.


Its a public with sourcemod and the mapchooser plugin is active. 
Everything works fine, BUT:
If the Match (maxrounds 30) is over, the Map dont change instantly. It

MetaMod and/or SourceMod needs an update.

If dont want to wait for MM or SM update: Disable Metamod (rename 
metamod.vdf) and run the server 'vanilla' (plugin free).

[Csgo_servers] A LOT of IPs in servers bann-list. any ideas?!

since a while there are daily a lot of IPs in the bann-list of our 
servers and i dont know why. Any ideas?


Sourcebans isnt active and basebans is also not active on those servers.

[Csgo_servers] Mapchange failed with sourcemod

since a while our pub have probs on mapchange. every 2nd or 3rd 
mapchange doesnt work. it loads the same map again. Anyone here with a 
solution for that?

And:
At the end of the round the scoreboard is shown just for a second... 
what is the CVAR for this? :/

As well as Player 2, who logged STEAM ID STEAM_1:1:6110 at line 5 of
the log after the status message.
Right after that, the log shows Player
2<3>" triggered "round_mvp".

Side note:
I noticed that while searching for a reason why HLStatsX CE doesn't show
up the ingame rank lists and think,
that this might be the reason for it as the plugin probably cannot link
the player name to it's database entries.

Has anyone else noticed something similar or am I missing something here?

Die 'rote Markierung' kommt nicht auf dem Server oder in der Konsole, 
sondern man findet diese Hinweise auf sourcemod/alliedmods. Zum Beispiel 
hier bei diesem Plugin:

Eindeutig 'unapproved', sprich man sollte es NICHT nutzen. Außerdem hat 
Sourcemod seit dieser Sache eine 'Sicherheitsvariable' eingebaut. Damit 
dieses Plugin also geht, muss man eine Sourcemodvariable ändern.
Damit hast du gleich zwei Dinge missachtet/übersehen/ignoriert. Tut mir 
leid, aber Unwissenheit schützt vor Strafe nicht!

The plugin doesn't work without changing a safety flag on sourcemod. 
Also in the sm thread there is a red label and an unapproval message.
I know, it's ridiculous, but you must have been blind not to see the 
warnings.

I think Valve should overhaul the ban system against server owners.

I Played CSGO after the new rank systen just from time to time. After 
a while i thougt , create a gameserver with the surf plugin.


So i did it. I knew how it works but there was something new , a gslt  
woot ?


I googled it and found directly the management page for tokens, kk , 
read the stuff above the creation , everything is fine.


Surf1 , surf 2 , surf 3 created, i downloaded the plugins i want.

A User on my server asked me for a knife plugin so i tryed it out , i 
saw it on a server so i searched for it at alliedmodders. It dont 
realy worked fine  , some knifed are invisible , so i deletet the 
plugin for bugs.


A few days later (06.17.16) i saw a message ingame  that my tokens are 
permanently banned. HOLY MOLY woot ?



I checkt my mails, nothing . i checkt google for a gslt ban and found 
: Plugins like the sm_knifeupdate (that i was trying) are not longer 
allowed …


WOW Awesome, i banned my self becouse i tryed a plugin for 2 minutes.

On the Token website are no links to any guildelines .

I got a permanent ban for tokens and a cooldown to play

Valve juges me like a Cheater and thats not fair , this are just Skins .

'error walls' at the models. I deleted the maps and reupdate the server 
with 'validate' and the same errors.

It’s likely that they have not yet made it live.

If you query the API you’ll see a new field (gmsindex) that is always

thank you for your answers.

Cause all token will be banned if there was something on (just) one 
server, we really need a absolutely short but detailed and very clear 
list of what is completely forbidden and will cause a ban. Not everyone 
hosting or renting a server is in the list and need such a list to 
prevent a ban.

Hey mates,

i have a strange issue:
we downloaded several times and we install
different vanilla servers, but after the 3rd or 4th
player connect, there are just errors instead of
boxes and sometimes on models.

What could be the reason? Any ideas?

servers, but after the 3rd or 4th player connect, there are just
errors instead of boxes and sometimes on models.

What could be the reason? Any ideas?

Last operations the community-server were out of the drops too. the 
vanguard case drops where only possible in the operation as far as i 
remember.


so it will be the first days, maybe first week, then the people will go 
back to the community. especially when the 'normal drops' will happen!

tv_maxclients is working (for me). If u put the GOTV-IP + Port in 
'HLSW', u will see the ports of the gameserver, but if u check 
tv_maxclients on the gameserver, it will show u the right amount.

In tinkering with the reserve ammo settings of the weapons Valve has 
deprecated every single ammo_*_max n cvar and moved this setting to

since a few month we reached 8 to 9 TB traffic per month with just 11 
servers and just 5 of them are often full (between 12 and 32 populated 
slots). Do you have similar traffic-stats?

mates havent  probs like stuttering and other soundbugs.

'The solution' for u, ok. But our public runs since the beta with 
mp_halftime set to 1 and we have no 'trouble' at the moment... just at 
13vs13 it just show 12 names per team sometimes.
The 0:0 bug is little bit older and for the most times it dont happen to 
me, when im restarting csgo and connect again on the same server. no 
idea what could solve this.

I dont want to set 'mp_match_end_restart' to '1', cause i want the map 
to completly reload. Anyone here who can help me in this newbie case? :D

Are you using linux? Linux seems to have some sort of cap at ~100% CPU.

Our 64 slot 64 tick CS:GO server is still running with the same 
performance, consistently running at 150% CPU on an E3-1271v3 when full.

i can just tell you, that i have this problem on my servers since

Dont know why this happened at the moment, but i hope it will be better

However , the sv on the server is close to 1 , no 0.

What kernel I need for better sv and var? (very close to zero) Or
I need a better CPU?

There was a client update a gew hours ago and i updated a few servers to 
1.34.5.9 but know the rest of the servers dont get the 1.34.5.9.


Anyone else with this 'problem'? I can connect to both versions so there 
is no real problem. ;)

i just know, that the massive ddos attacks are gone for us after they 
introduced the change of the a2s_rules and the 3 new CVAR ( 
host_name_store - host_info_show - host_players_show ) and by setting 
sv_max_queries_sec to default ( 3 ). And know, exactly since the last 
update, we got very huge ddos attacks. we had to turn off two servers 
now.  :/


So noone thinks there could be a correlation?

Just the title says , when my friends play to my server , the
Join Game option is not available when  I right click on them at
friends list , not even inside game , what is wrong?

Just to let u know:
We have tested a 20 Slot nearly Vanilla with just the basic Sourcemod 
Plugins on 128 Tick and 64 Tick and if the player count reached the 16 
of 20 Players, the lag-spikes were big ( var above 15, sometimes 35). On 
64 tick and 128. On a Valve Casual DM Server i experienced these 
lag-spikes too, so valve have to find a fast solution and im sure they 
will find a fast and good solution in the next 3 days i think and hope. :)

Hey Molnar,

i've tested it too and yeah... the lobby problem doesnt exist, but 
monstly the half of the regular players complain about missing the 
server in the fav-lists and after re-adding it missed again after a 
steam restart. Also the server wasnt findable via server-browser anymore.
On 7 of 10 gameservers i've tested this, the lobby-issue was 'deleted', 
but it caused several other problems, which caused in another way of 
'empying out'. :(


So they should find a solution for that issue!

for Linux Clients (with update of 10th September) we got the Linux 
performance issues. I hope there might be another change... HOPE DIES

Seems to work on 5 of 10 Servers for me... today. Maybe luck, maybe not 
luck. I will report next week if it still works on 50% of all servers or 
not.

But its a fact that linux servers with different linux-distributions, 
different hardware have this problems and its a fact that this problems

99% of all csgo-servers in europe runs on linux. So YES, this is a major

Whatever! Sourcemod seems to be fixed, but there are still lag-spikes 
(no more gamebraking-spikes on our side, but spikes which werent there 
before 10th september update and with more plugins running).

Like all large communities, reddit is also filled with a
large, vocal group of people who know nothing about the game
and care more about watching a ninja defuse or a c4 themed
birthday cake. The communities populated by server operators
who are heavily embedded in the development side of the game
and actually know a think our two about servers are full of
reports, and those are the communities you should be looking
at when it comes to server performance.

most likely affecting everyone because on forums like
Alliedmodders and other communities a lot of server
owners and players have been complaining since this
patch was released. This new problem makes it unplayable


We don't see a significant increase of reports regarding
servers on reddit since the latest patch. I believe reddit
is one of the biggest communities alongside the CSGO hub
on Steam.

Ok. So what does this means? I havent installed those extensions, so 
there must be a plugin loaded which requires those extensions, right?

Same here, on all servers, not just ones with sourcemod. Having 
sourcemod running anywhere on the machine tanks the performance.

 Fresh installation of CSGO with newest Snapshots of Sourcemod 
 Metamod:Source to fix the lag-spikes, but now, every two too four
 minutes everyone get kicked with (No Steam Logon)... :-/

 Any ideas?
