Now Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is calling on Arabs and Muslims to withdraw their US-dollar deposits from the United States, and to use oil as a weapon against the world's only superpower. He said Palestinians and other groups should cease suicide bombings as this method of attack has only brought about world anger and stronger retaliation from Israel in the disputed territories. In an interview with Mingguan Malaysia, the Sunday edition of the biggest-selling newspaper Utusan Malaysia, Tun Mahathir also charged that President George W. Bush of the US and his challenger John Kerry would not dare to stand up against Israel for fear of losing political ground. Asked how the Muslim world could gain a more sympathetic ear from the US government, he said: 'We have other means to fight them rather than attacking them blindly, but we didn't want to use them. 'I have spoken about using oil as a weapon. Apart from that, the Arabs keep a lot of money in the US. If we pull out the money, the US can immediately become bankrupt.' This is believed to be the first time he has suggested Muslims withdraw their funds from the US as a tactic. 'If we use this strategy, I believe it will be more effective than tying a bomb to your body and blowing up people,' said Tun Mahathir, who retired last October after 22 years in office. His previous suggestion that Islamic oil-producing countries use oil as a bargaining chip had fallen on deaf ears in a divided Arab world. With Muslims angered by the United States' strong support of Israel and its attack and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, Tun Mahathir had angered many by saying suicide bombers had not helped the Palestinian cause as they did not discriminate between killing soldiers and civilians. In the interview, Tun Mahathir also asked why Muslims should keep billions of their oil money in US dollars, and why global trade should be done only in that currency. Despite debts amounting to US$4 trillion (S$6.8 trillion), the US remains the richest country in the world due to these deposits, he said. 'Aren't we stupid? The amount is not small as the oil-producing countries keep their petroleum money there,' he said. The CIA assessment, based on a technical analysis of the video, also identifies the voice on the video clip as believed with high probability to be that of Zarqawi, who has links to Al-Qaida and has been identified by U.S. officials as being behind some of the deadliest attacks in Iraq. Zarqawi is also suspected in the killing of Laurence Foley, a U.S. aid official in Amman, Jordan, in October 2002. The decapitation of Berg, 26, is chillingly reminiscent of the role that a senior Al-Qaida official, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, played in the February 2002 decapitation of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan. Mohammed is now in U.S. custody. Also Thursday, e-mails provided by Berg's family suggest the businessman was being detained by the U.S. military. To back its claims that Berg was in U.S. custody, the family showed the Associated Press an April 1 e-mail from Beth A. Payne, the U.S. consular officer in Iraq. And Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates became the first Arab governments to criticize the slaying. (1) Eli Whitney Jr (industrialist, merchant, and arms dealer) and Samuel FB Morse (inventor) were cousins on their mother's side. Thanks to his marriage to the great granddaughter of Yale founder James Pierpont, Eli Whitney's brothers-in-law were Yale president Timothy Dwight and Aaron Burr Sr, father of the traitor (and a Parsons, related to Theophilus Parsons?) (2) Whitney's cousins the Morses are interesting cases: elder Jedidiah Morse (Yale graduate 1783) was a polymath like Ben Franklin type, educated in Edinburgh, but also seems to have been a vocal propagandist against the so-called "Illuminati plot" in America -- and Jed's son Samuel FB Morse (Yale grad), the inventive genius, toward the end of his life wrote of a Catholic/Habsburg/Jesuit (Mason) conspiracy -- both of these contributing mightily to the anti-Masonic hysteria of the 1830s (when Skull Bones was formalized) and a demagoguery manipulated by the politicians, whose sentiments continued to resonate in the secessionism of the Confederacy.
(3) Now, note the interwoven themes here: The "pirate-Templar" SB, through the Russells, involved historically in both the slave trade, pimping the South, and dope trade, allied with their British counterparts; "family" man Burr's conspiracy to take control of Louisiana and border Southern states, controlled by Catholic Spain, and create an independent nation; Russell cousin/heir JP Morgan's association with the Rothschilds; Rothschild interest in America evident from the dispatch of August Belmont in the 1830s, during the "anti-Masonic panic" and depression in the US ...

By Tom Regan | csmonitor.com The Daily Telegraph reports Nick Berg, the US civilian decapitated on video by Islamic militants in Iraq, told friends in Baghdad that he had been arrested and detained in Mosul because Iraqi police thought he was an Israeli spy. The Telegraph also reports that Mr. Berg told friends that a few hours after he was arrested by Iraqi police, he was transferred to a US military facility, where he was in a cell with Syrian and Iranian fighters. Both the Telegraph and CNN quote Hugo Infante, a Chilean photographer, who saw Berg on April 6, shortly after he had returned to Baghdad after being released from detention. Nick told me, 'Iraqi police caught me one night, they saw my passport and my Jewish last name and my Israeli stamp. This guy thought I was a spy so they put me with American soldiers and American soldiers put me in a jail for two weeks.' ... He wasn't mad. It was just an adventure for him. He said, 'This s**t happens. It was bad luck'. The Chicago Tribune reports that Berg's friends also said he had traveled to the area lugging electronic equipment, hoping to find lucrative work on telecommunications systems. The electronic equipment may have added to the impression that he was conducting suspicious activities, as Dan Senor, spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority, described them Wednesday. The Houston Chronicle reports that Berg's murder has the potential to provide US President George Bush with a little breathing room, as his administration reels from the continuing fallout from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. But the White House's bid to turn attention away from the photos and videos showing US troops abusing Iraqi prisoners has been complicated by the reaction of Berg's family to his death and the role they believed the US played in it. The White House seems to be locked into a very public clash with the family and friends of Berg over the details surrounding his detention in Mosul in the weeks leading up to his abduction and death. The Washington Post reported Wednesday that US officials in Washington said that Berg had been visited by the FBI three times during his detention, but that he was never held by US forces. The officials say he was held by Iraqi police, contrary to what his family has been saying. Berg's family angrily denied the claims. The Iraqi police do not tell the FBI what to do, the FBI tells the Iraqi police what to do. Who do they think they're kidding? Berg's father, Michael, told The Associated Press from his home in West Chester, Pa., a Philadelphia suburb. Military officials acknowleged that the US is the ultimate authority in Iraq, including over the Iraqi police. But Bloomberg News reports Thursday that Iraqi police are now denying US assertions that they detained Berg. The Iraqi police never arrested the slain American, Mosul's police chief, Major General Mohammed Khair al-Barhawi said. Such reports are baseless. To our knowledge, he was detained by the Iraqi police in Mosul, coalition spokesman Dan Senor told CNN. He was in Iraqi police custody. He was met by U.S. officials, he was visited three times by the FBI, but at all times, he was in Iraqi custody. I think some of the confusion emanates from the fact that a number of the detention facilities throughout the country, there are American MPs who play a support role there, Senor added. Rick Santorum, R-Pennsylvania, said a Defense Department official told him he believed al-Zarqawi was the man on the tape. Al-Zarqawi, a 37-year-old Jordanian native, has a $10 million reward on his head. Acme Commerce also said would have taken action earlier if it had been aware of the contents of the video. Rumsfeld made a surprise visit and insisted the Pentagon did not try to cover up abuses there. One bus carrying 40 prisoners left the jail and drove to an American military base in west Baghdad, where tribal leaders awaited some of them. One by one, prisoners got out, kneeled, and prayed beside the bus. Others left on the same bus, bound for other Baghdad neighborhoods. Hundreds of relatives of those detained had stood outside the prison since early morning, waiting for their release. U.S. Marines blocked off both lanes of a highway as the first bus left the prison compound. At least five other buses left the prison. After spending over nine months in the prison, Hussein Sami did not complain of physical abuse. However, he said he and other prisoners were under psychological pressure, with guards repeatedly shouting and insulting inmates. The prison was also unsafe because Iraqi insurgents sometimes targeted it with mortar rounds. Sami arrived at his house in the Dora neighborhood of Baghdad, and family members slaughtered a sheep at the gates in celebration. He claimed he was never told why he was arrested. His father and brother were left behind at Abu Ghraib, Sami said. Another former prisoner, Mohammed al-Musawi, complained that he was humiliated by guards at least once during his 11-month incarceration. ``They forced me to take all my clothes off and female prison guards were whispering and laughing at me, `` Musawi said while sitting in a room with tribal leaders. He was arrested in Baghdad's Hurriyah neighborhood, for allegedly participating in an attack against a U.S. tank. Al-Musawi spoke of other detainees who left interrogation rooms with bruises, apparently from beatings. ``After taking some of the detainees into the interrogation rooms, they would come out with bruises and swellings in their bodies,'' he said. Both men spoke inside the U.S. military's Camp Thunder in west Baghdad after a short bus journey from Abu Ghraib. The coalition periodically releases prisoners from the notorious Saddam-era jail, where abuses of prisoners by American soldiers have erupted into a major scandal and damaged the credibility of the U.S.-led coalition governing Iraq. Images of abuse were taken by American military guards at the prison near Baghdad. Courts-martial have been ordered for three military police guards. Nahidah Abdulkarim, a housewife who said her three sons were detained by U.S. forces in January, stood in a dusty field and peered through the barbed wire fence at the prison. ``I am so eager to see them again so that I can kill all the bad and ugly thoughts that my sons had been abused inside the prison,'' she said. ``Every time I see the pictures of the abused Iraqi prisoners, I die a hundred times.'' Among them is whether American agencies had a direct or indirect hand in the young man's murder. Questions immediately arise from the timing and political consequences of his killing. At the height of a massive scandal engulfing the Bush administration, Berg's death has been exploited by the American government and the US media to launch a counter-offensive against the revelations of systematic US torture in Abu Ghraib and other Iraqi prisons. A wholesale attempt is being made to shift American and international public opinion away from the outrage over the criminal character of the US occupation of Iraq and behind the self-serving argument that American forces are needed in Iraq to prevent the country descending into barbarism and chaos. Were Berg's murderers being directly paid by the American government, they could not have performed a more timely service for the Bush White House. Berg's killing was carried out in the name of al-Qaeda-aligned Jordanian terrorist Abu Musaab al-Zarqawi. Whoever is operating in the name of Zarqawi, they have a proven record of provocative actions that have only helped to prop up the American occupation of Iraq. On February 9, amid signs that the majority Iraqi Shiite population was on the verge of joining the armed resistance being fought mainly in Sunni Muslim areas, a letter, allegedly authored by Zarqawi, called for Sunnis to provoke a civil war with the Shiites. American officials used the letter to argue that their occupation was the only thing holding Iraq's religious groups apart. Several weeks later, on March 2, suicide bombings at Shiite mosques in Karbala and Baghdad were blamed on what the US now calls the Zarqawi network. Contrary to the schema outlined by US officials and in Zarqawi's letter, the bulk of the Iraqi masses spurned sectarianism. The growing unity has been on display in mass demonstrations and joint struggle since the eruption of a Shiite uprising in early April. Even before the torture revelations, the US occupation of Iraq had crumbled into a morass of bloody reprisals against the Iraqi people and growing American casualties. Opposition has been steadily growing in the US and internationally. The group who carried out the beheading of Berg and then ensured it was broadcast around the globe must have known that it would horrify American and world public opinion and assist the efforts at damage control in Washington. Further questions are raised by the attempts of the US government to conceal or distort what it knew about Berg himself and the events leading up to his disappearance in Baghdad on April 10. Berg vanished in Iraq just 72 hours after being released from 13 days in US military custody and questioning by the FBI. Berg has been described by his family and friends as adventurous. He had a limited knowledge of Arabic and an interest in obtaining reconstruction contracts in Iraq for the family telecommunications company, Prometheus Methods Tower Service. In December 2003 he travelled to Iraq and went home on February 1. Among the places the young man inquired for contract work was the Abu Ghraib prison-which he referred to as a notorious prison for army and political prisoners. He returned to Iraq in mid-March. Deputy Defence Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and the Pentagon's No2, General Peter Pace, admitted under questioning before a congressional committee that it would be a violation of the conventions if US prisoners were forced to squat naked with bags over their heads and arms lifted up for 45 minutes. Democrat senator Jack Reed, reading from a copy of the interrogation orders approved by the top US general in Iraq, Ricardo Sanchez, said: Precisely that behaviour could have been employed in Iraq. The document, provided to Congress this week, showed prisoners could be denied sleep for up to three days and kept in stress positions for up to 45 minutes, with the commander's approval. There could also be sensory deprivation. That would be a bag over your head for 72 hours, Senator Reed said. Is that humane? he asked Mr Wolfowitz, who tried to avoid the question. Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Times reported that the first US soldier to be court-martialled over the abuse scandal at the Abu Ghraib jail, Specialist Jeremy Sivits, has told military authorities how a group of guards joked and mocked naked prisoners, beat and kicked them, and forced them to hit one another. Senators on both sides of politics challenged Mr Wolfowitz when he revealed that US funding for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2005 would require at least twice as much as the $US25 billion ($35.7 billion) US President George W. Of course, like any overriding theory, this one should not be pushed to an extreme, and it doesn't explain everything. But it explains a great deal. A key role in the course events initally took was played by John Dee, the Neoplatonic Christian Cabalist and Scientific Advisor to Queen Elisabeth. He introduced the idea that the inhabitants of Britain were descendants of the lost tribes of Israel. It was all part of the British propaganda barrage directed against the Vatican and the European Counter Reformation in the Sixteenth Century. Henry VIII Wants an Heir Let's start with Henry VIII. The king of England had not been able to conceive a male heir with his wife Catherine. So he wanted a divorce, which he doubted the Pope would allow. Henry VIII sent his secret agent Richard Croke to Venice in 1529 to consult with the Christian Cabalist theologian Georgi, as well as Jewish Rabbis, on the right way to biblically justify divorce and remarriage to the Pope. There was a conflict between Leviticus and Deuteronomy whether a man could marry his brother's widow, the grounds on which Henry VIII was questioning the legality of his own marriage to Catherine. This represented the beginnings of an alliance between the British Monarchy and various Jewish groups. The divorce arguments, however, went nowhere. No compromise was ever reached with the Pope. (The British historian, Dame Francis Yates, tells the story in her book, The Occult Philosophy in the Elizabethan Age.) So Henry VIII finally solved his dilemma by wresting the Church of England out from under the Pope, and proclaimed himself Head of the Church. Henry was now supreme leader, both politically and spiritually, and did what he wanted with respect to divorce and remarriage. (As for the heir, we now know that the underlying infertility was Henry VIII's own. But from such trivialities do the major events of world history proceed.) The Vatican was staggered. And it was furious. Not only had the head of a leading nation defied the Pope's authority in spiritual matters, but this same king had set himself up as a rival Pope, so to speak. King Henry VIII was an Anti-Pope. Or that's how the Vatican saw it. The Vatican and the Monarchy were now at war. The war of spiritual ideas and spiritual concepts quickly became part and parcel of the geopolitical war with the chief Catholic power, Spain. Henry VIII's seizure of the Church of England had to be justified to English-speaking people in a spiritual sense. And so it was. The British had a spiritual destiny, it was declared. Information Warfare and John Dee John Dee, the son of one of Henry VIII's court officials, grew up surrounded by this controversy and the mystical currents concerning the notion of British Empire. The latter involved a spiritual as well as a geopolitical aspect: the British were to inherit the earth, and in the process foster the spread of True Christianity. That is, not Catholicism. According to Geoffrey of Monmouth, the kings of Britain were descended from Brut, of Trojan origin. King Arthur, one of Brut's descendants, was considered the chief exemplar of sacred British Imperial Christianity. John Dee identified with this Arthurian notion of Empire, as he believed himself to be descended from the ancient kings of Britain, and was thus himself a distant cousin of the Tudor Queen Elisabeth I. The Tudor monarchy of Dee's time was glorified as the culmination of the Arthurian tradition, because Henry VIII's break with the Vatican had eliminated the Pope and made the British Monarch supreme in both church and state. Another line of thought led to the doctrine of British-Israelism, which held that the British were the descendants of the lost tribes of Israel. The doctrine of British-Israelism and the Lost Ten Tribes was intended to forge a political alliance between the British monarchy and the Jews of Amsterdam, through a merger of the Arthurian Imperial tradition with Cabalistic interpretations of the Hebrew scriptures. What had happened was that after the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492, some of them went East to the Ottoman Empirethe Islamic world being at the time more religiously tolerant than Christendom. Within Europe itself many of the Jews moved to Italy, particularly Venice, while other Jews and marranos migrated from Spain and Portugal to Amsterdam. The Jewish merchants and bankers of Amsterdam were seen by the British Monarchy as desirable allies in the financial and political war with Spain, as well as in the spiritual war with the Vatican. Avi Langer, 33, the son of Rabbi Yosef and Hindi Langer, reportedly took a valuable scroll from the Torah, the Jewish holy text, off the wall of his parents' bedroom and lit it on fire. He was taken into custody in Santa Clara Wednesday afternoon on arson charges after a one-alarm fire burned the Chabad House of San Francisco at 2950 Anza St. in the Richmond District. The fire, which was concentrated in a second-story bedroom and in the basement, was extinguished in about 20 minutes after being reported at 12:28 p.m. Avi Langer is charged with arson and possession of flammable materials, burglary, theft and possession of stolen property. Avi has suffered from diagnosed severe schizophrenia since he had a mental breakdown at the age of 23. Avi's condition recently became worse, and his parents banned him from staying at the two-story Richmond District house that served as both a residence and a well-known weekly gathering spot for Jewish observers of Shabbat, the holy Sabbath. Morgan Chase, helped the Nazis raise over $20 million in foreign exchange between 1936 and 1941, a new report shows. -Caveat Lector- 15 Anomalies Surrounding Death Of Nick Berg What Really Happened.com Letters 5-14-4 (Warning: Parts of the following discussion contain rather sickening references.) Arab linguists have said the man posing as the Jordanian Zaraqawi did not speak with a Jordanian dialect. Others have suggested the man reading the written statement may not have been a native speaker of Arabic. Zaraqawi was missing one leg and had been outfitted with an artificial leg that did not fit or function properly. He was unable to walk or stand normally with his ill-fitting limb. No man in the group showed evidence of such an infirmity. Numerous indigenous sources have said Zaraqawi was killed by a US helicopter attack months ago when he was unable to move quickly enough to escape the targeted house. While others managed to exit the house in time to survive, he died in the collapsed building. As any surgeon will testify, the alleged beheading was a fake. A beheading would result in a tremendous amount of spurting blood. There would have been blood everywhere had an actual beheading taken place. When the executioner holds up Berg's head immediately following what is represented as an actual decapitation of a living person, there is no significant blood flow from the neck or blood splatters showing anywhere on the executioner. Furthermore, the cut was simply too neat to have been done crudely and with such amazing speed by a man wielding a knife. Anybody who has ever carved a turkey knows there is something wrong with the supposed beheading. The suspended head looks more like Berg had been neatly beheaded by a guillotine. The orange jumpsuit was standard US military issue to men in custody. It is unlikely Berg would have continuing wearing a US custodial uniform if he had been released by the military as they claim. The fact he was still wearing the suit is both anomalous and suggestive. One is forced to speculate as to whether there was an immediate transfer of Berg from the US military to unknown persons, thusly preventing Berg from discarding his US prison garb. Several of the men in the film were fat by Iraqi standards. If they were Feyadeen or mujahadeen, they probably have been living underground since the first days of the occupation. Tens of thousands of Iraqis have been shown on news stories as they have marched and demonstrated. One would be hard pressed to point out a single fat man among these thousands. Some men had what can only be described as pasty-white hands. Once again, one would be hard pressed to find Arab men with pasty-white hands. The lack of spurting blood suggests Berg was already dead at the time of the alleged decapitation. It is possible Berg's dead body was displayed with his head already partially or totally severed. In any case, he almost certainly was killed before the staged beheading. If so, it suggests the captors had no stomach for an actual beheading of a living person, and they opted to fulfill their assignment quietly and with the least amount of gore. The scream that is heard has been interpreted as a woman's scream by many viewers. Videotape cognoscenti have further said the scream was amateurishly added to the tape. The U.S. government translation of one statement made on the film is: Does al Qaeda need any further excuses? This is a falsification. The actual statement urged fellow insurgents to get off their hind ends and do something. One assumes the translator being used by the US military is a native speaker of Arabic, so this cannot be explained as an innocent flub. This suggests the US government wanted to inject an alleged al- Qaeda group into the murder of Nick Berg. Iraqis who have seen the videotape on Arabic news broadcasts are universally saying the men in the film are not Iraqis. Are they saying this partly because the speaker does not employ an Iraqi dialect? Where does their certainty come from? Firearms experts have stated the AK-47 carried by one man was a Gilal. This actually is an Israeli-made weapon that improves on the famous AK- 47. Feyadeen and other insurgents almost universally use AK-47s. The man in the videotape who is purported to be Zarqawi is wearing a gold ring. This is absolutely proscribed by Islamic law. The US military has stated that Berg was never in US custody and that he had been in custody of the Iraqi police. The Iraqi police adamantly deny he was ever in their custody. On April 1, an e-mail from Beth A. Payne, the U.S. consular officer in Iraq, was sent to the family of Nick Berg. It stated that Ms. Payne had located Nick, and he was currently in custody of the US military. We have to conclude that either the email was bogus or the US military has been lying. The chair that Berg was seated in during the filming was a standard issue military chair of the exact same kind as seen in a color photo taken at the Abu Ghraib Prison. The chances a terrorist cell would be using this same chair are minimal at best.

Alex Moise received a two-month suspended sentence and a $1,000 fine from a Paris court Thursday for giving a false statement and for wasting the court's time. Moise filed a complaint in January [2004] claiming he had received anti-Semitic phone calls and threats but later admitted that he himself had made the calls.
