-Caveat Lector- The memorial service for Barbara Olson was very touching today. Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork and others spoke of her with great eloquence. She was on the cell phone to her husband right up until the crash into the Pentagon. These phone conversations will prove to be invaluable in recreating what happened aboard the hijacked planes. I am so saddened to see the families with members still missing. So many of them appear to have been very young parents, leaving behind children and several pregnant wives. The live of these young will be permanently and forever effected by this in a special way. A man representing Lucent Technologies says they have in place technology to make the pagers and Palm computers activate if people have the numbers and the devices are still operable. I guess this would be to help rescue workers know where to dig. I did not understand why. The number, however, is 877-348-8579. Apparently, someone from Lucent will tell you what to do it you have the pager number. Has anyone seen his interview w/ whatshisface...Hume, Brit Hume?? God is this guy dispassionate...cold...robotic, no! Not Hume, that's a given, I mean Olson, the "grieving" widower... Is THAT how good conservatives grieve? Is THAT how they mourn for their "loved" one? From what I could see this Olson dick is an asshole of the highest order, and granted his wife was a bitchy shill for the GOP but you'd figure a guy like Theodore would love and miss that! But from what I could tell this guy was quietly celebratory...almost relieved! Did he know this was imminent? Did he insist she was on THAT flight?? Makes one wonder!
