Please upload: email-2.3.2-1

2005-02-14 Thread Ross Smith II
Hi.
Please upload new email-2.3.2-1 files:
http://smithii.com/files/cygwin/email/email-2.3.2-1.tar.bz2
http://smithii.com/files/cygwin/email/email-2.3.2-1-src.tar.bz2
http://smithii.com/files/cygwin/email/setup.hint
This version fixes a bug that effected Cygwin users that needed SMTP AUTH. See
http://email.cleancode.org/ for details.
Thanks,
Ross

I would like to maintain perl-Win32-GUI, the Win32-platform native

maintainership for perl-libwin32.
We need a current perl-5.8.6 build.
What about the changes we talk about in PM, are they still needed?
Well, just tell me if I need to integrate the patches and release
an update of perl *now* or if it may wait for another two weeks?
Keep in mind that 5.8.7 should be out in about 4 weeks.
4 weeks?
I found more minor problems in the pm_to_blib section in the upstream MM
hackery (pc files no copied), which I want to fix the right way, so that
it can be applied upstream.
Now that they are so responsive.
Affected are modules by Bret Giddings and Tye McQueen.
This might need one week or two.

I uploaded these.

http://smithii.com/files/cygwin/email/setup.hint

I did not upload this.

- It included a superfluous @ email line.

- The ldesc contained lots of extra white space.

- It used an unnecessary 'cur' (sic) line.

AFAICT, the existing setup.hint was just fine.

I've included it below for reference. If you do need to make a change
to a setup.hint, please use this one, however, there is no reason to provide
a setup.hint in upload requests unless something has actually changed.

ldesc: Command line sending of email, optionally with GnuPG encryption.
Email is a simple command-line program to send emails. It can be configured
to use either your sendmail installation or directly via SMTP.
It supports binary attachments, and a simple text based address book, with
groups.
Also, if GnuPG is installed, it can digitally sign and encrypt outgoing emails.
