 the game
fairly.Be honest and do unto others as you would expect them to do unto you. That is
do not try any short cuts or miss anything out.
2.As soon as you mail out these letters, you are automatically in the mail order
business and people are sending you £1 to be placed on your mailing list. This is a
service and is perfectly legal but you must send £1 to everyone on this list in order
to make the contract and the mailing list legal.
3. You will only succeed if you follow the rules exactly,so please never break the
rules.

FACTORS THAT HOW DOES IT WORK

When you mail out 200 letters or emails,at the modest response rate of 4% from
your 200 letters/emails,8 people will send you £1.These people will send out their
200 letters (total 1600) and at the same rate 64 people will send you £1.These 64
people will send out their 200 letters (total 12,800 and so on) and at the 4% rate 512
people will send you £1.When these 512 people each send out 200 letters then a
further 4,096 people will each send you £1.When 4,096 people send out 200 letters
then an amxing 32,768 people will send you £1.
That means a total of £299592 cash.
Even if you only achieve the very poor response rate of 0.3% from your 200
letters, you will still recieve £55,986 cash at the end. However, when you obtain the
truly realistic response rate of 5% you will actually recieve the staggering sum of
over £1 million cash. David Rhodes and others exceeded 7.5% through a quality
mailing list

NOTHING VENTURED-NOTHING GAINED
So read what two people who took the plunge have to say

" About 10 months ago i recieved a letter from David Rhodes but instead of acting
immediately i put it to one side and then lost it.Fortunately luck was on my side
because a few weeks later this letter from Sally Brooker dropped through my letter
box. This time i did it straight away but nothing happened for a couple of
weeks. Then the money started rolling in and now im better off to the tune of £63,000.i
recommend that you follow the instructions and have a go.I'm glad i did "

"I am a sceptic by nature .i recieved at least 4 letters similar to this in the last
nine
months. However ,there was something different about this particular letter that
caught my attention. It was down to earth, simple and honest.the intial cot is minimal
and i also like the fact that all the participants recieved money, not just the person
at
the top of the list.I followed the instructions and sent off 7 £1 coins followed by
200
letters and hoped for the best.Nothing happened for the next 11 days then on the
12th day i recieved £48.by the end of the third week i recieved £609 but over the
following 5 months i recieved a total of £131,879.I am going to do it again but this
time i will send out 1000 letters.I know this sounds greedy ,but why not? "

BUT REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS-SO DO IT NOW!!!

Please do not throw away this oppurtunity to make money.if you are still not
interested then give this letter to someonne in need who may be unemployed so
they can earn good money at home or share it with a friend. But why not do it
yourself? What have you got to lose? Balanced against what you have to gain!
Okay there's some effort involved so you have 2 choices-Do nothing ,Nothing will
change! or do it and change everything! .Without casting a fishing line, how can you
expect to catch a fish? So it is entirely up to you.Once again consider all the fact
factors and ask yourself
"how genuine of an oppurtunity is it?

AN OPPORTUNITY LIKE THIS HAPPENS ONCE IN A LIFETIME
THE OUTLAY IS NEXT TO NOTHING-GIVE IT A TRY-YOU WILL BE AMAZED!
YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT EVERYTHING TO GAIN.
GOOD LUCK!!!

update HONG KONG--Siemens has a solution for people who constantly forget computer
passwords: a mouse that recognizes fingerprints.

Called the ID Mouse, the device uses biometrics to take advantage of the unique
features of people's fingerprints. German electronics maker Siemens, which showed off
the ID Mouse this week at the ITU Asia Telecom 2000 fair, said the device works by
allowing pre-authorized people to retrieve information from their PCs or laptops.

By lightly tapping the fingertip sensor located at the top of the mouse, the device
verifies the fingerprint against reference templates already input into the PC's
system. Once a fingerprint is authenticated, the person can then access the PC's main
operating system.

Siemens is one of numerous companies headed in the direction of using unique features
for identification.

The mouse is powered by 65,000 sensing elements on the 0.25 square-inch fingertip chip
that enables the device to scan and capture the fine details of a fingerprint. The
system is so sensitive that it will recognize an authorized person even if there is a
cut on the fingertip.

For added security, if the mouse user takes a break, the screensaver is activated
until the person touches the ID Mouse again.

Other than that, the ID Mouse operates just like any Microsoft mouse. It has a wheel
scroll for navigation and requires at least Microsoft Windows 98 and a USB connection.

This week's conference is the International Telecommunications Union's 23rd telecom
show since its 1971 debut in Geneva. The six-day fair, which ends Saturday, took place
in Hong Kong this year and was expected to attract at least 50,000 visitors from more
than 50 countries.

Singapore.CNET.com's Priscilla Wong reported from Hong Kong.

Actually there's a much more mundane reason for people not viewing the
ads on algebra.com. The javascipt code is broken and doesn't display
anything in netscape. So if you view the page with netscape, the ads
don't show...

Oh well, using javascript is a stupid idea anyway. I think you got

Does anybody have a stego program along the lines of Peter Wayner's
Mimic Functions? I'm looking for something that you can hand a grammar
and a set of bits that will produce sentences in the grammar,
plus a decoder that can take the sentences and reconstruct the bits.
I have a friend who lives in a kleptocratic country where the local
bureaucrats have made it clear they'll confiscate the main email node
in his town if they catch traffic they recognize as encrypted,
and text in some non-popular language may be less obvious than, say,
Mandelbrot sets with stego-bits or other artwork.
---

I think Texto is what you are looking for, and it is available from the
cypherpunks archive in the steganography directory. If you can't find it,
drop me a private note and I'll mail it to you...
---

Dear Mr./Mrs. Lucifer
Hi, we are two students studying in Drexel University, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. In order to graduate, we need to have a senior project and we
decided to write an application using Steganography.
We are especially interested in using Context Free Grammar as a basis to
develop the application; in other words, we want to conceal secret messages in
seemingly innocuous text. We did some research and found out that mimic
function may be able to help us. However, we have a hard time figuring out how
this mimic function works and how to actually encode our information. After
searching on the Web, we found this message and thought that you might be able
to help us to finish our project.
Can we read the source code and figure out how to do it? We plan to write the
whole application in Java and we want to develope some kind of instant message
user interface, like AIM, or ICQ. We will definitely be ethical about coding
and documenting all the material that we borrow.
This is the link that I found the message:
http://www.inet-one.com/cypherpunks/dir.96.08.29-96.09.04/msg00044.html
Yours Sincerely,
 Bae-Shi Huang

2000-09-15 Thread FTM97

Sept. 7, 2000

First off. To avoid any complication I am willing to sign a release of yours
giving you full access to all medical records, test and opinions, all DDU of
New Mexico records and reports and all Social Security medical records and
reports plus any and all financial records including any and all disability
social security benefits every paid me, all Medicare payments every made in
my name, all medical and hospital records and any and all bills and payments
you require to show that I am dead serious in asking you to please
investigate this case because I am fighting a medical malpractice and
conspiracy and fraud case PRO SE against some very powerful attorneys and
doctors. Also if anyone of the doctors in this case still claims that their
diagnosis especial on or around Feb. 1995 of my medical condition as that of
Limb girdle muscular dystrophy is correct that doctor can immediately end
this case simply by provide you and me with the medical evidence and test
results they say they performed on me that especially shows their Feb. 1995
and dates thereafter diagnosis of LGMD and total disability is true and my
15-20 year medical condition was and is indeed that of LMGD. They can not
provide you with any such evidence because it does not exist as defendants
attorney has testify already in court to, and no test were every given by the
two doctors to support their unbelievable misdiagnosis. Again, no blood test,
muscle biopsy test, medical test were given that either doctor can point to
that they say supports their false Feb. 1995 and dates thereafter
misdiagnosis and claims that I am and have been for over 15 years totally
disabled entitled to full social security and Medicare disability benefits.
In fact prior to the Feb. 1995 date and repeatedly after the Feb. 1995 date
many doctor and experts in the field of neuro-muscular dystrophy have
examined me and make blood test, EMG tests, muscle biopsy test and all have
written that I do not now nor have I ever had LGMD with some going so far as
to say that given the medical evidence present today and during the 1995
investigation NO DOCTOR could have mistakenly misdiagnosed my medical
condition as that of LGMD. This was not only a misdiagnosis but once the
misdiagnosis was discovered by me in early 1995 the doctor involved
immediately began a cover up of the truth and conspired with a fellow doctor
to continue the misdiagnosis knowing it was a lie and knowing that when they
were advising social security and DDU in 1995 that I was totally disabled it
was not true. The two doctors in this case had all the medical evidence from
the UNMH-MDA clinic and the written words of the doctors and knew if they
went ahead and intentionally diagnosed a false diagnosis it would be exactly
that. If you investigate this case and open the District Court Records #
CV-98-00271 you will find all medical evidence that I have submitted as
evidence including the one doctors own late 1995 and early 1996 letter
admitting he knew I was not ever totally disabled. I need help before these
doctors and there lawyers get away with fraud, conspiracy and cover up. I
have brought all the information to the judge in this case and he seems to
not be listening instead overly concerned with rules of the court and not law
of the land.

I have a question news media: When did the NMRA District Court and other
Court rule book become law or statute onto themselves with the power to
supersede statute and law and with so much power that they are looked unto by
Judges and lawyers as laws unto themselves even though not one of them have
ever been enacted into law or statute? How can a rule of court supersede
statute and be held above statute with the power to overrule statute?
Summary Judgment is a Rule of the court, created by judges and lawyers to
skirt truth and real justice. When will the citizen of New Mexico see what
attorneys and Judges have done taking over their court system and take that
control back away from the Judges and the lawyers who seem to not have the
citizens rights in mind? Who watches the attorneys and judges? Why is it
that judges seem to be screaming and yelling at ordinary citizens who are
seeking justice? Should we as ordinary citizens be afraid of the courts and
the Judges knowing that a fancy lawyer can make a claims or accusation with
no evidence to back such a claim or accusation and get away with it? In the
case number included in this brief you will find specific examples of where a
powerful lawyer has written their response to a medical law suit, not a
medical malpractice lawsuit, in which the attorney from the very beginning
makes not only bogus claim but out right un-provable and false claims that
have been brought to the judges attention without the judge acting on one
single one. If I went into court and lied throughout my questioning whether
in writing or not I would be put in

This really works! Have the faith, don't miss this opportunity,
get
involved also, and it will work for you as it does for us!

This email contains the ENTIRE PLAN of how YOU can make $50,000
or
more in the next 90 days simply sending email!

Seem impossible? Just read on and see how easy this is

Due to the popularity of this letter on the Internet, a major
nightly
news program recently devoted an entire show to the investigation
of the
program described below to see if it really can make people
money.

The show also investigated whether or not the program was legal.
Their findings proved that there are absolutely no laws
prohibiting the
participation in the program. This has helped to show people
that
this is a simple, harmless and fun way to make some extra money
at home.

The results have been truly remarkable. So many people are
participating that those involved are doing much better than ever
before. Since everyone makes more as more people try it
out, its been very exciting.

You will understand once you try it yourself!

* THE ENTIRE PLAN IS HERE BELOW *

*** Print This Now For Future Reference ***

If you would like to make at least $50,000 in less than 90 days!

Please read this program...THEN READ IT AGAIN!!

THIS IS A LEGITIMATE, LEGAL, MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY!!

It does NOT require you to come into contact with people or make
or
take any telephone calls. Just follow the instructions, and you
will make money. This simplified e-mail marketing program works
perfectly 100% EVERY TIME!

E-mail is the sales tool of the future. Take advantage of this
virtually free method of advertising NOW!!! The longer you wait,
the more people will be doing business using email. Get your
piece of this action!!!

Hello - My name is Johnathon Rourke, I'm from Rhode Island.

The enclosed information is something I almost let slip through
my
fingers. Fortunately, sometime later I re-read everything and
gave
some thought and study to it. Two years ago, the corporation I
worked
for the past twelve years down-sized and my position was
eliminated.
After unproductive job interviews, I decided to open my own
business.
Over the past year, I incurred many unforeseen financial
problems.
I owed my family, friends and creditors over $35,000. The economy
was
taking a toll on my business and I just couldn't seem to make
ends
meet. I had to refinance and borrow against my home to support
my family
and struggling business.

AT THAT MOMENT something significant happened in my life. I am
writing to share the experience in hopes that this could change
your
life FOREVER.

FINANCIALLY$$$!!!

In mid December, I received this program in my e-mail. Six months
prior to receiving this program I had been sending away for
information on
various business opportunities. All of the programs I received,
in my
opinion, were not cost effective. They were either too difficult
for me to
comprehend or the initial investment was too much for me to risk
to see if
they would work. But as I was saying, in December of 1997 I
received this
program. I didn't send for it, or ask for it, they just got my
name off a
mailing list.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT!!! After reading it several times, to
make sure
I was reading it correctly. I couldn't believe my eyes! Here was
a MONEY
MAKING MACHINE I could start immediately without any debt.

Like most of you I was still a little skeptical and a little
worried
about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the
U.S.
Post Office (1-800-725-2161 24-hrs) and they confirmed that it is
indeed
legal!

After determining the program was LEGAL I decided "WHY NOT!?!??"

Initially I sent out 10,000 e-mails. It cost me about $15 for my
time
on-line. The great thing about e-mail is that I don't need any
for
printing to send out the program, and because I also send the
product
(reports) by e-mail, my only expense is my time.

In less than one week, I was starting to receive orders for
REPORT #1.
By January 13, I had received 26 orders for REPORT #1. Your goal
is to
"RECEIVE at least 20 ORDERS FOR REPORT #1 WITHIN 2 WEEKS. IF YOU
DON'T,
SEND OUT MORE PROGRAMS UNTIL YOU DO.

My first step in making $50,000 in 90 days was done. By January
30, I
had received 196 orders for REPORT #2. Your goal is to "RECEIVE
AT LEAST
100+ ORDERS FOR REPORT #2 WITHIN 2 WEEKS. IF NOT, SEND OUT MORE
PROGRAMS
UNTIL YOU DO. ONCE YOU HAVE 100 ORDERS, THE REST IS EASY, RELAX,
YOU WILL
MAKE YOUR $50,000 GOAL."

Well, I had 196 orders for REPORT #2. 96 more than I needed.
So I sat back and relaxed. By March 1, of my e-mailing of 10,000,
received $58,000 with more coming in every day. I paid off ALL my
debts
and bought a much needed new car!

Please take your time to read this plan, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
FOREVER$!!!

WHAT'S NEXT
Pentagon Lets Civilians Use the Best G.P.S. Data

By MATT LAKE

It seems as though almost no car advertisement can be broadcast on television without
some mention of a feature that can pinpoint exactly where you are, even when you are
in the middle of nowhere. And it is getting hard to rent a car in a strange town
without being offered an extra (for around $40 a day) that will give you turn-by-turn
directions to wherever you want to go.

Both types of offers take advantage of a gift from the United States government called
the Global Positioning System, or G.P.S. It uses time signals that are transmitted
from satellites in geosynchronous orbits around Earth and picked up by receivers,
which use that information to calculate those receivers' locations. The math used to
calculate location is complex, based on the time it takes for the signals to travel
through space and the difference in transmission time for signals from as many as four
satellites.

But until May 2, the system was flawed by inaccurate timing signals from the
satellites -- errors that were deliberately introduced. The positioning system was
designed to have two tiers of service: the Precise Positioning Service and the
Standard Positioning Service.

If you were part of the military of the United States or of one of the nation's
allies, or were in an approved civil agency, and if you had big-ticket decoders and
cryptographic passkeys, you could take advantage of the more accurate G.P.S. data from
the Precise Positioning Service. That can pinpoint your latitude and longitude to
within roughly 72 feet (22 meters) -- or less than half that in some cases -- and your
elevation, relative to sea level, to within roughly 90 feet.

But everyone else -- like hikers boaters and people paying Avis for a NeverLost system
in their rental cars -- got much less precise information. The Standard Positioning
Service measurements were accurate to only within about 330 feet (100 meters) for
locations and within about 510 feet for elevation. And what's more to the point, that
inaccuracy in position information was introduced at some cost by an encrypting system
called selective availability.

There were good reasons for introducing selective availability. In the early 1980's
when the Global Positioning System was introduced, its primary function was military,
though there were undoubted benefits to other organizations like commercial airlines
and coast guards.

The typical military approach (which makes sense in wartime, even if it's a cold war)
is to keep anything that may be construed as a threat under tight wraps.

So the government decided that there were good military reasons to limit access to the
most accurate positioning information.

But by 1996, in the post-cold war world, the United States government had decided that
there was less need to spend money on encrypting the precise positioning signal.

So the Clinton administration announced that the government would end the policy of
selective availability to "encourage acceptance and integration of G.P.S. into
peaceful civil, commercial and scientific applications worldwide and to encourage
private sector investment in and use of United States G.P.S. technologies and
services."

The change was planned for 2006, but the timetable was speeded up because the
positioning system has exploded in popularity since the announcement in 1996.
Worldwide, there are now more than four million G.P.S. users, using commercial
receivers that not only calculate latitudes and longitudes but also superimpose those
details onto computerized maps and calculate directions to desired locations. Not only
are these G.P.S. receivers used in car, air and marine transportation, but they are
also becoming critical for mining, oil exploration and agriculture and for emergency
response teams.

And the United States Commerce Department has predicted that worldwide sales of G.P.S.
products and services will reach $8 billion this year, a number that could double by
2003.

With that kind of demand -- coupled with a competing Russian system called Glonass and
talk of another from the European Union -- it made sense to move the deadline forward.

So six years ahead of schedule, the White House ended the policy of selective
availability at midnight on May 1.

The response from G.P.S. receiver manufacturers was quick and positive. The move was
commended on the following day by John Huyett, president and chief executive of the
Magellan Corporation in Santa Clara, Calif., the company that manufactured the first
handheld G.P.S. receiver and also makes Avis's NeverLost system.

"Our products have become more valuable and useful overnight," Mr. Huyett said. "The
same G.P.S. receiver that provided accuracy within 100 meters of a user's location
yesterday is providing position fixes with

one spot is only a few lines from me!! He is
going to have 1 million people in his downline in 180
days, it has already been 10 days and he is well
on his way!! Why do those 1 million effect you?
Because it is a 3x10 FORCED Matrix!! You can get
paid a small amount on everyone in your 3x10
matrix, as well as a bonus on everyone you personally
sponsor. The #1 guy in the company, sent an ad
to 550 people. Over 100 of them signed up right
then! NOW is your chance! I am spending $300 with a
partner to send this ad to 50,000, yeah,
FIFTY-THOUSAND people! Why wouldn't you sign up?? If only
1% signed up (not like his almost 25%) that is
over 500 people. And if you get in within the first
even several hundred... you will be well on your
way to a large downline in a few weeks!! My
sponsor has been in for 2 weeks and has over 400 in
his downline! Now everyone sponsor 1 or 2, and your
3x10 matrix will fill up in REAL TIME on your
personal account webpage!!

You have over 89,000 spots available! If you
earn only $1 on each member (you earn money when
your downline buys products that EVERYONE will
want!) $1 a month per member, would be
over one million a year. But don't even worry
about the millions, if you had 1000 members in your
downline, would you be happy with an extra
$10,000 a year?

That would pay anyones extra bills! The company
is announcing their MAIN product in FIVE DAYS! It
is supposed to have the best price ANYWHERE and
everyhousehold will be buying 1, or 2 or more!
Commissions will be about $6 on each level!! Plus a
$30 referal fee! Why get in now? The grandfather
clause. If you get in within five days, you will
be grandfathered in, and you won't need to
sponsor anyone to qualify for commissions on your
DOWNLINE!

Now is the time to act! Go to
http://www.refereveryone.com/id/eb1814 and sign up and
get ready to earn money! Thanks everyone! Send
this message onto your friends with YOUR ID once you
get signed up!!

Well, if you come home and there are hatchet marks all over the case,
then you know that somebody hacked into your computer. When you find
this out, the best way to get them out of your privacy is to go out
into the street and declare your undying love for them publically.
A typical declaration may go like this:

"John was hacking me! I have the hatchet marks to prove it. I hereby
declare my undying love for John's loins. I state this publically,
so as to get him out of my privacy. Come here, big boy."

John will probably then publically break your neck, or you will be
laughed out of the neighborhood, but either way he's out of your
privacy and into your publicity at that point.

Web Identity Crisis Looms

  By SYLVIA PAGAN WESTPHAL,
  Special to The Times

The purchase of fake IDs, long a
problem on the streets, has invaded
cyberspace to become the latest headache
  for state and federal authorities.
Now accessible through the click of a
mouse, a number of Web sites offer
replicas of some of the most coveted and
  sensitive personal documents: state
  identification cards, driver's licenses,
  birth certificates and Social Security
cards, all guaranteed to look like their
  legitimate counterparts.
   And boy, do they.
"The ones we've seen are better than
what's [sold] on the street," said Marissa
Hernandez, a section chief for the
  Immigration and Naturalization Service.
   The cybertrend has put new
enforcement strains on agencies such as
the INS and the state Department of Motor
  Vehicles, already overwhelmed with the
  scope of more traditional counterfeiting
  operations.
Street sales of forged documents have
  reached ominous proportions in Southern
California, authorities say. In the last two
years alone, INS agents have seized
  nearly 3 million counterfeit documents
from just one organized crime ring. The
  confiscated material, which included
  green cards, Social Security cards,
  driver's licenses and proof- of-insurance
certificates, had a street value of more
  than $140 million.
The extent of Web-based sales is
unknown, but authorities are well aware
  of the budding industry's potential.
And as is clear from their Web sites,
some operations are not shy about
  flaunting their skills as counterfeiters.
Boasts one on the Web: "We continue
to be a major headache to several DMV
and law enforcement agencies around the
world. We can provide you with all the
illegal and fake photo IDs that you are not
by U.S. law [allowed] to have."
Another Web site advertises: "We will
provide you with . . . exact novelty
replicas in every detail of the current
[state] IDs. . . . We do whatever security
measure that state has (i.e. UV,
  watermark, hologram, seal, reflective
  laminate coating)."
A scroll down the page reveals
  samples of very realistic documents
costing from $40 for a Social Security
card to about $85 for driver's licenses and
  birth certificates.
The site says it sells the documents

Subject: twisted little fiddler

Friday February 25 2:11 PM ET

Frenchman Sentenced in Card Fraud Case

PARIS (Reuters) - A French computer scientist who found a way to fool cash machines
into

giving him $2,000 every 15 minutes was given a 10-month suspended prison term Friday.

Serge Humpich, who tried to sell his discovery to others rather than use it himself
to buy

goods, was found guilty by a Paris court of forgery and fraudulent access to an
automated data

 system.

Humpich, 36, told the court he had not been looking to steal when he cracked an
algorithm

enabling communication between bank cards and machines, thus infiltrating France's
Cartes

 Bancaires interbank payments system.

Humpich, who is appealing against the decision, found a way to have his home-made
smart

card answer ``yes'' whenever a machine asked it if he had typed in the correct PIN
code.

``It was crazy -- I could communicate with the central computer and let myself in via
any

network. (I was) the only person in the world that could take out 15,000 francs
($2,238) every

quarter of an hour and buy absolutely everything I wanted,'' Humpich told Friday's
Liberation

 newspaper.

Humpich never profited from his discovery. Instead he approached Cartes Bancaires
through a

lawyer and offered to sell them his secret.

But the company rejected his offer and alerted the Interior Ministry. He was arrested
last

September and fired from his job as a computer engineer.

His lawyer said the discovery had advanced science. But the company's lawyer called

 Humpich a ``twisted little fiddler.''

Anecdotal, and heresy to boot. Do you even know the program, Anonymous?

The tragedy of the cypherpunks is: cypherpunks don't write code.
They talk. About what and why, not how. About a utopian crypto-anarchy made of whole
cloth.
Baby steps towards that utopia (such as freedom) are "uninteresting". Because
cypherpunks
aren't seriously trying to achieve some goal. They just want to talk about how good it
would be,
and how disgruntled they are with the status quo. It's a mind game.
