Re: [darktable-dev] Fujifilm H1 treatment differences between jpeg and raw files

2019-12-09 Thread Lorenzo Fontanella
Using DarkTable from a lot of time, I know that there are powerful tools to
be able to develop raw. But it is not a question of metamorphism.
Considering opening the jpeg file with DarkTable first and then the raf
file, I expect the two to be (similar) in chrominance and luminance. Maybe
the .raf file will be less contrasted and with more information, but it
can't be totally different from the jpeg file. Have you ever encountered
this problem?

Sorry...  I of course meant the Tone Equalizer.

You mention a video on the Tone module; I have not been able to find
that. Is it out yet?

A shorter addendum is on the way to explain specifically to users of
darktable 2.6 what changed between the 2.6 and 3.0.

Cheers,

Re: [darktable-dev] problems with retouching in current git

2019-12-09 Thread Alexander Rabtchevich

Hello. Here is the issue.
https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/issues/3708

With respect,
Alexander Rabtchevich

Alexander Rabtchevich wrote:

Hello

I have a strange problem - sometimes darktable retouching behaves as it uses
almost transparent brush despite the actual brush transparency. It even seems
the more opacity is the brush, the more transparent is the result.

The same is with rhe spot removal module.

When i imported such a file with its xmp in rc1 at windows, it showed all the
strokes had opacity of 0.45. Not the module itself, but all the strokes
individually. I haven't set opacity for any of them.

Can provide an example RAW with xmp.
