Bug#600149: iceweasel: incorrectly copies location bar content

When I try to copy some non-ASCII address from location bar, for example

 http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Славянская_мифология

iceweasel will copy escaped line, e.g.

 http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%BB%D0%B0%D0%B2%D1%8F%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%84%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%B8%D1%8F

I expect (and I think many other users, I saw a flame war about that) that
iceweasel will copy the address itself without escaping, like all other
 browsers do.

I think iceweasel is right doing this, because it can't know for sure
the target application will be able to handle the unescaped url (the url
probably needs to be escaped when talking to the server)

Bug#599816: Nested GRE locking bug

Beatrice Barbe reported a reproducible crash after creating large

she provided. The magic number of tunnels to create is apparently 37.

With lockdep enabled, I get the following output:

Thats a known problem, actually, called stack exhaustion :)

net-next-2.6 contains a fix for this, adding the perc_cpu xmit_recursion
limit. We might push it to net-2.6

net: add a recursion limit in xmit path

As tunnel devices are going to be lockless, we need to make sure a
misconfigured machine wont enter an infinite loop.

Add a percpu variable, and limit to three the number of stacked xmits.

I think I reported that quite some time ago, it is a bug
in dpkg-reconfigure, because it should set the necessary env vars to
make the trigger mechanism work.

I cannot check now (as I am in a hurry), but this bug definitely is a
bug of dpkg-reconfigure.

Are you using testing? I thoguht this is fixed in the latest dpkg?

Bug#600137: confirmed!

2010-10-13 Thread Jason Woofenden
Yay! webkit-image is in debian unstable!

I've tested both webkit-image-gtk and webkit-image-qt and only the
-qt one works properly with yahoo satellite imagery.

Using webkit-image-gtk, each tile is shrunk and the rest of the
area it should be covering comes up white. The amount it's shrunk
seems dependent on zoom level. Seems like the zooming is going
backwards somehow... like the further in you zoom, the smaller the
tile gets.

Anyway, I'd love to see webkit-image-qt as a Recomends from
josm-plugins, but please don't Reccomend webkit-image-gtk until it
works with at least yahoo satellite imagery.

Thank you, - Jason

Does that mean that movie is not in en_GB or not in any of them? Is movie a

Dear maintainer of ircd-hybrid and Debian translators,

Some days ago, I sent a notice to the maintainer of the ircd-hybrid Debian
package, mentioning the status of at least one old po-debconf translation
update in the BTS.

I announced the intent to build and possibly upload a non-maintainer upload
for this package in order to fix this long-time pending localization
bug as well as all other pending translations.

The package maintainer agreed for the NMU or did not respond in four
days, so I will proceed with the NMU.

The full planned schedule is available at the end of this mail.

The package is currently translated to:
cs da de es eu fi fr gl ja nl pt ru sv vi

Among these, the following translations are incomplete: none

If you did any of the, currently incomplete, translations you will get
ANOTHER mail with the translation to update.

Other translators also have the opportunity to create new translations
for this package. Once completed, please send them as a bug report
against the ircd-hybrid package so I can incorporate them in the build.

The deadline for receiving updates and new translations is Monday, October 18,
2010. If you
are not in time you can always send your translation to the BTS.

The POT file is attached to this mail.

If the maintainer objects to this process I will immediately abort my NMU
and send him/her all updates I receive.

Otherwise the following will happen (or already has):

Monday, October 11, 2010 : send the first intent to NMU notice to
 the package maintainer.
Thursday, October 14, 2010 : send this notice

Tuesday, October 19, 2010 : build the package and upload it to
DELAYED/2-day
send the NMU patch to the BTS
Thursday, October 21, 2010 : NMU uploaded to incoming

Thanks for your efforts and time.

To use HAVP, you can either mount the file system that contains /var/spool/
havp with the option \mand\, or create a loopback file system that is
mounted at /var/spool/havp only for HAVP.
