Bug#949647: Problem induced by sqlite3 3.31.0-1
Dear all, I have the same problem. First, I tried to downgrade firefox from 72.0.2-1 to 72.0.1-1+b1, but the problem persisted. Then, I downgraded libsqlite3-0 from 3.31.0-1 to 3.30.1-1. Now, firefox starts again. I upgraded firefox back to the latest version and it is still working. Kind regards Benjamin P. S.: A big thanks to the people providing snapshot.debian.org!

This problem is also reported upstream [1] and I saw that you already commented on this issue. But recently, some work started on porting the add-on to Thunderbird 60 [2, 3]. Bug#835992: [Pkg-zfsonlinux-devel] Bug#835992: 835992
Dear Petter, the build failure reported here is independent of the dkms problem in #836578. I applied the suggested patch from #836578, but the build still fails with Linux 4.7 (see attached /var/lib/dkms/spl/0.6.5.7/build/make.log). The changes of ZFS v0.6.5.8 [1] contain the compatibility with Linux 4.7. So maybe the easiest solution is packaging the new upstream release. Bug#678353: openssl communication problems with 1.0.1e with AES-NI
Hello, Am Samstag, 9. März 2013, 15:44:38 schrieb Kurt Roeckx: They asked if you use any LD_* environment variables. printenv | grep LD is empty. lsof -p $pid of s_client process would also be nice. See attached file lsof-sclient.txt. If you have a custom /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf, it would also be nice if you could send that. I have the default one created by the Debian package. /proc/cpuinfo would also be nice to have. See attached file proc-cpuinfo.txt. If you know how to use gdb, they ask to print print variables and buffers in e_aes_cbc_hmac_sha1.c If you want to debug it, debugging might not show you source code since you might have the source in a different path. The .deb files can be generated from the source above using: DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS=hardening=-all DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=noopt nostrip dpkg-buildpackage -B -uc If you build it yourself, you can also just run the ./openssl.static binary instead of installing the .deb package. With your instructions I was able to build a static version with debug symbols. Now, I get a more helpful backtrace at the point where s_client errors out (see attached file backtrace.txt). I have set a breakpoint at e_aes_cbc_hmac_sha1.c:450. The function is called multiple times before the error occurs and I do not know for what to look exactly. I have output the parameters of two calls (see attached file gdb- output.txt). Without knowing for what to look exactly, I think it is very difficult to generate helpful information. Maybe somebody here or on the openssl-dev mailing list [1] suggests what might be helpful. Thank you for your support! I just wanted to eliminate the possibility that it might be related to libc6, because I am using a libc6 version from experimental and others probably have a different version. Bug#678353: Backtrace

Does it help if I send the output produced by s_client -debug ...? Strangely debugging does not fully work. The code is found: (gdb) list s3_pkt.c:484 479 * SSL 3.0 only has 'bad_record_mac'. In the backtrace, files and line numbers are missing. I also tried to give debug-linux-x86_64 to ./Configure in debian/rules, but this does not help. Do you know why there is debugging information missing? What should I do to get more information to find the source of the bug? If this explanation is unsatisfactory and you have not received a better one in a separate message then please contact Fabian Greffrath fab...@greffrath.com by replying to this email. Bummer! Packages like avidemux or xbmc are not available in the official repositories. They depend on the new versions of the ffmpeg packages, therefore it is not possible to downgrade the libraries. Seems like I have to download Blender manually. :-/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org

Bug#630527: Missing diversion of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1
Package: libgl1-nvidia-alternatives Version: 275.09.04-1 Severity: grave Tags: sid The following report applies to the current versions from unstable and experimental. I wondered why no OpenGL context could be created anymore. I got the following output when calling glxinfo: glxinfo name of display: :0 Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig I checked ldd `which glxinfo` | grep libGL.so libGL.so.1 = /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 (0x7fec1d221000) and saw dpkg -S /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 libgl1-mesa-glx: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 There is a diversion for libGL.so.1 in /usr/lib: dpkg -S /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 diversion by libgl1-nvidia-alternatives from: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 diversion by libgl1-nvidia-alternatives to: /usr/lib/nvidia/diversions/libGL.so.1 Probably the multiarch change in mesa [1] caused this change. Bug#560142: java-common: Package updates entail Network is unreachable in Java programs
Package: java-common Version: 0.33 Severity: normal Hello, I am quite sure that this bug report does not belong to java-common, but because it affects all my Java programs I reported it here. Since installing the package updates yesterday networking in Java programs is not working anymore. For example Eclipse (installed manually, not as Debian package) gives me: Dec 9, 2009 9:39:26 AM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector executeWithRetry INFO: I/O exception (java.net.ConnectException) caught when processing request: Network is unreachable Dec 9, 2009 9:39:26 AM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector executeWithRetry INFO: Retrying request Other Java programs (I can name JabRef and Hudson) have the same problem (they also report Network is unreachable). Other programs (for example Iceweasel, Kontact, reportbug) have no networking problems. I am using the sun-java6-* packages. But because they were not updated yesterday I suppose there is another reason for this problem. Maybe the update of netbase? Perhaps you can give me some hints how to inspect this problem. Bug#560142: Workaround
Hello, thank you Sylvestre for your hint. Adding -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to my eclipse.ini fixed the problem for Eclipse. Adding the setting to the file ~/.java/deployment/deployment.properties as suggested in the blog post does not work for me. I think this setting only affects Java applets. Maybe there is a similar setting for local programs run by the JRE. So somehow Java started to use IPv6 yesterday. Is this connected with the change in the netbase package? Bug#526135: [korganizer] Patch
Hello, the patch attached to this e-mail works for me. The previous solution with setting the initial value of mFrequency led to some hidden events. With this patch the division by zero does not occur anymore and all events are visible. Maybe I should add that I am using a calendar stored on an IMAP server (Kolab). Bug#526135: Additional information
Hello, now the crash already occurs when I switch to the day or week view in KOrganizer. This is very annoying and makes KOrgranizer unusable for me. I started KOrganizer under gdb and checked what causes the exception. The SIGFPE is caused by line 1870 in the file kdepimlibs-4.2.2/kcal/kdepimlibs-4.2.2/recurrencerule.cpp. This line is periods += ( mFrequency - 1 - ( ( periods - 1 ) % mFrequency ) ); The debugger told me that mFrequency is zero, which explains the exception. After that I renamed both groups to the same name (only containing letters). These two groups were not joined so that I have two groups with the same name in the contact list. Bug#427692: libopenscenegraph5: Workaround
Package: libopenscenegraph5 Version: 1.9.7-1 Followup-For: Bug #427692 Hello, I have a workaround for this problem. Create a symbolic link with the following command: ln -s /usr/lib/osgPlugins/ /usr/lib/osgPlugins-1.9.7 The plugins are searched in the path /usr/lib/osgPlugins-1.9.7 instead of /usr/lib/osgPlugins. With the symbolic link they are found and the osg* programs work again. Perhaps you have to check where this path is set in the source code or maybe in a compile parameter and change it to the correct path so that the package works without this workaround. I discovered this by doing an strace on osgviewer. Bug#428197: openscenegraph-doc: Missing libraries and syntax errors in example makefiles
Package: openscenegraph-doc Version: 1.2.0-4 Severity: normal Dear openscenegraph-doc maintainers, I tried to compile some examples from the openscenegraph-doc package and encountered a couple of linking errors. In the file /usr/share/doc/openscenegraph-doc/OpenSceneGraph/src/examples/osgsimulation/GNUmakefile the library -losgTerrain should be added to the LIBS line. In the file /usr/share/doc/openscenegraph-doc/OpenSceneGraph/src/examples/osgcamera/GNUmakefile there is the line LIBS += -lProducer -losgDB --losgUtil -losg $(GL_LIBS) $(X_LIBS) $(OTHER_LIBS). Bug#426293: kopete: ICQ: Renaming a group in kopete's contact list leads to deleted users in ICQ contact list
Package: kopete Version: 4:3.5.7-1 Severity: normal Dear kopete maintainers, I renamed a group, which contained some ICQ-only, some Jabber-only and some ICQ-and-Jabber contacts. After a few days I wondered why only the Jabber users were online and all ICQ users always offline (only the Jabber part of the combined users was shown online too). I talked to a few of the ICQ users and they told me that they were online. It was not possible to request their authorization again so I logged in with ICQ2Go. There I saw that the whole group was missing in my ICQ contact list. Somehow kopete deleted these users (I am sure that this was done by kopete because I am not using any other IM client [except ICQ2Go for testing this time]) and did not create the new group on the icq server. I got them back by deleting these users from my kopete contact list, adding them again and asking for the authorization. Maybe it is possible for you to reproduce the bug. If I should try to reproduce it please tell me how to log the things kopete does (maybe strace?). Then I will try with a test group or something.
