Bug#368068: asterisk: working patch for brazilian portuguese syntax
Package: asterisk Version: 1.2.7.1.dfsg-2 Severity: normal New patch that makes Asterisk almost full-brazilian portuguese enabled. It changes app_voicemail.so, app_sayunixtime.so and the core 'say' application of Asterisk. The patch below applies nicely in both 1.2.6 and 1.2.7.1 versions of the Debian package. It was tested in a production environment by me (using 1.2.6) and at home (using 1.2.7.1). I asked on #asterisk-dev and was suggested to use pt_br rather than br. The ISO639-1 language name br is Breton, BTW. All br references comes from the following files that makes me think it's pretty fine, although I don't understand why the 639-1 name, not 8859-1: /etc/asterisk/indications.conf:country=br /etc/asterisk/sip.conf:language=br /etc/asterisk/unicall.conf:language=br /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf:language=br No other file has br set up and since it's a channel configuration, I think it's a bug in both zapata.conf and unicall.conf, not in this patch, right? Bug#342138: package asterisk-dev should contain asterisk.h main header
Package: asterisk-dev Version: 1.2.0.dfsg-4 The header named asterisk.h from the source code of Asterisk should be chipped into the asterisk-dev package (in the /usr/include directory, not in /usr/include/asterisk, by the way) so that developers can use the main call/functions/definitions from it and it would specially allow packages like extras channels and peripheric code (chan_unicall.so for example) to be created. I'm already maintaining it, but offline, 'cause this bug. Please, consider to fix it for the next revision... here's what I changed to fix it in my asterisk-dev (pretty simple, what makes me think why it's not included by default): diff -ruN orig/asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/rules asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/rules --- orig/asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/rules 2005-12-05 14:23:56.321246488 -0200 +++ asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/rules2005-12-05 14:12:22.503722784 -0200 @@ -131,6 +131,8 @@ cp debian/asterisk.default $(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/etc/default/asterisk mkdir -p $(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/usr/lib/cgi-bin/asterisk/ cp contrib/scripts/vmail.cgi $(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/usr/lib/cgi-bin/asterisk/ + cp include/asterisk.h $(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/usr/include/ + chmod +x $(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/usr/lib/cgi-bin/asterisk/vmail.cgi dh_install --sourcedir=debian/tmp diff -ruN orig/asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/asterisk-dev.install asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/asterisk-dev.install --- orig/asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/asterisk-dev.install2005-12-05 14:23:56.322246336 -0200 +++ asterisk-1.2.0.dfsg/debian/asterisk-dev.install 2005-12-05 14:18:01.461193416 -0200 @@ -1 +1,2 @@ +usr/include usr/include/asterisk Cheers! -- Caio Begotti (caio1982) http://caio.ueberalles.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#342139: disable chan_zap building (in channels makefile) against old libmfcr2
Package: asterisk Version: 1.2.0.dfsg-4 Please, it's needed so that extra channels can be packaged without requiring to patch and merge Asterisk source code with anything. The upstream author of it can tell more. The transcript of his mail follows: --- Caio Begotti wrote: Hi there Steve, Still, remains a small bug about this linking. The my Debian package of Asterisk must to remove the ${ZAPR2} part of the linkage of chan_zap.so (otherwise the chan_unicall.so won't work) and I have to collect some arguments to convince them about it: What's the real impact for Zap users of removing the linking of chan_zap.so against the R2 library shipped with Asterisk? It's related to your patch to compile chan_unicall.so, of course. ZAPR2 doesn't really do anything. There is not R2 library shipped with Asterisk. ZAPR2 is just left over junk. At one time I started an R2 implementation based on chan_zap. I abandoned that, and built the one people use now. The ZAPR2 stuff is just a useless leftover from that earlier work. I have asked for it o be removed from chan_zap.c and the Makefile, but nothing has been done so far. Steve -- Here's my generic patch to fix the channels Makefile (it's generic, so ignore the adds parts about chan_unicall). Thanks in advance, and I hope it'll be fixed soon, so I can upload my channel and deps libs to the Debian repo more easily. http://caio.ueberalles.net/asterisk/caio_channels_generic.diff What seems really necessary is: @@ -95,11 +99,6 @@ ZAPPRI=-lpri endif -ifneq ($(wildcard $(CROSS_COMPILE_TARGET)/usr/lib/libmfcr2.so.1)$(wildcard $(CROSS_COMPILE_TARGET)/usr/local/lib/libmfcr2.so.1),) - CFLAGS+=-DZAPATA_R2 - ZAPR2=-lmfcr2 -endif - ALSA_SRC=chan_alsa.c ifneq ($(wildcard alsa-monitor.h),) And: @@ -202,7 +207,7 @@ $(CC) -c $(CFLAGS) -o chan_zap.o chan_zap.c chan_zap.so: chan_zap.o - $(CC) $(SOLINK) -o $@ $ $(ZAPPRI) $(ZAPR2) -ltonezone + $(CC) $(SOLINK) -o $@ $ $(ZAPPRI) -ltonezone chan_sip.so: chan_sip.o $(CC) $(SOLINK) -o $@ ${CYGSOLINK} chan_sip.o ${CYGSOLIB} Regards, -- Caio Begotti (caio1982) http://caio.ueberalles.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#341362: asterisk: Missing build-dependency on doxygen
On Tuesday 29 November 2005 17:43, Jerome Warnier wrote: Justification: fails to build from source doxygen is needed to generate the documentation. Here is my big patch for it. It also splits the package to -doc containing the Asterisk's API in HTML and decrease the adduser dependency version to 3.63, insteado of 3.64 (almost impossible to build cleanly on Sarge - backported): http://caio.ueberalles.net/asterisk/1.2.0/asterisk_1.2.0.dfsg-4.diff.gz -- Caio Begotti (caio1982) http://caio.ueberalles.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
