Bug#714033: mirrors.163.com: No longer available?
Package: mirrors Severity: normal Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place or not to report this problem. I've been using mirrors.163.com here in Southern China because it's the fastest official Debian mirror in my area. Today, it seems to be broken. I checked the URL and it looks like all the packages are simply gone and replaced with ISO images. Bug#708127: tt-rss: Please make it easier to block users from using plugins.
Package: tt-rss Severity: wishlist This is a wishlist / would be nice to have. The plugins for tt-rss are installed into /usr/share/ by default. Some of the plugins have the potential to put a lot of extra unexpected load on the server and so some system administrators with a lot of users might not want to give user's the choice to enable some of them. I'm especially referring to the plugin that allows tt-rss user's to publicly share a custom built rss feed with unlimited number of other users from the Internet. It would be nice if there was a /etc/tt-rss/plugins.allowed and I could just add/delete symlinks into that folder that point to the actual plugin files at /usr/share/ Instead, I've resorted to manually moving individual user plugin files out of their installation locations at /usr/share to block users from being able to choose them, which is a pretty icky solution because they'll come back everytime the tt-rss package gets updated. Maybe a better solution would be just to chmod the plugins I don't want user's to have, but it's possible those chmodded files could get overwritten with the defaults on a package update as well, right? Plus the added problem that package updates could bring in new plugins that I might not want user's to have available to them by default. Maybe there is a better way of doing this, perhaps adding specific lines into config.php for each plugin along with a description of the plugin? But that might be overkill / too much work to maintain. or perhaps there is a way to do this that tt-rss provides that I'm not aware of.. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (2, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tt-rss depends on: ii dbconfig-common1.8.47+nmu1 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.49 pn libjs-dojo-corenone pn libjs-dojo-dijit none pn libjs-scriptaculousnone pn libphp-phpmailer none pn libphp-simplepie none pn php-gettextnone ii php5 5.4.4-14 ii php5-cgi 5.4.4-14 ii php5-cli 5.4.4-14 ii php5-pgsql 5.4.4-14 pn phpqrcode none Versions of packages tt-rss recommends: ii lighttpd [httpd] 1.4.31-4 ii php5-gd 5.4.4-14 Versions of packages tt-rss suggests: pn php-apcnone ii postgresql 9.1+134wheezy3 ii postgresql-client 9.1+134wheezy3 ii postgresql-client-9.1 [postgresql-client] 9.1.9-1 ii postgresql-client-9.2 [postgresql-client] 9.2.4-1 pn sphinxsearch none -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#705286: tt-rss: Startup fails due to default misconfiguration yourserver
Package: tt-rss Version: 1.7.8+dfsg-1 Severity: important After installing tt-rss with lighttpd on Debian Wheezy, After editing the config file to turn off disabled as suggested when the package is installed, the daemon starts and appears to run fine. However, when I go to http://localhost/tt-rss, I get an error message: Startup failed Tiny Tiny RSS was unable to start properly. This usually means a misconfiguration or an incomplete upgrade. Please fix errors indicated by the following messages: Please set SELF_URL_PATH to the correct value for your server (possible value: http://localhost/tt-rss/) You might want to check tt-rss wiki or the forums for more information. Please search the forums before creating new topic for your question. I wasn't able to resolve this without googling it, but apparently even though tt-rss is installed properly (with all options telling tt-rss configure that the database and web server is on the local machine), there is a line in the configuration file:vim /etc/tt-rss/config.php define('SELF_URL_PATH', 'http://yourserver/tt-rss/'); This is misconfigured by default. It'd think it should say localhost. Changing it to localhost and restarting tt-rss fixes the Startup failed error. Since tt-rss uses /etc/default/tt-rss for enabling/disabling the program, I'd think after that point it should just work. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (2, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.6-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tt-rss depends on: ii dbconfig-common1.8.47+nmu1 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.49 ii libapache2-mod-php55.4.4-14 ii libjs-dojo-core1.7.2+dfsg-1 ii libjs-dojo-dijit 1.7.2+dfsg-1 ii libjs-scriptaculous1.9.0-2 ii libphp-phpmailer 5.1-1 ii libphp-simplepie 1.2.1-3 ii php-gettext1.0.11-1 ii php5 5.4.4-14 ii php5-cli 5.4.4-14 ii php5-pgsql 5.4.4-14 ii phpqrcode 1.1.4-1 Versions of packages tt-rss recommends: ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.2.22-13 ii php5-gd 5.4.4-14 Versions of packages tt-rss suggests: pn php-apcnone ii postgresql 9.1+134wheezy3 ii postgresql-client-9.1 [postgresql-client] 9.1.9-1 pn sphinxsearch none -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/tt-rss changed: DISABLED=0 FORKING=0 -- debconf information: tt-rss/passwords-do-not-match: tt-rss/remote/newhost: * tt-rss/db/app-user: ttrss tt-rss/remote/port: tt-rss/pgsql/changeconf: false tt-rss/internal/reconfiguring: false tt-rss/pgsql/no-empty-passwords: tt-rss/purge: false tt-rss/missing-db-package-error: abort tt-rss/dbconfig-remove: tt-rss/dbconfig-upgrade: true * tt-rss/pgsql/authmethod-user: ident tt-rss/mysql/method: unix socket tt-rss/mysql/admin-user: root * tt-rss/db/dbname: ttrss * tt-rss/pgsql/admin-user: postgres tt-rss/remote/host: tt-rss/install-error: abort * tt-rss/pgsql/authmethod-admin: ident tt-rss/internal/skip-preseed: false * tt-rss/reconfigure-webserver: apache2 tt-rss/dbconfig-reinstall: false tt-rss/pgsql/manualconf: tt-rss/remove-error: abort tt-rss/upgrade-backup: true * tt-rss/pgsql/method: unix socket * tt-rss/database-type: pgsql * tt-rss/dbconfig-install: true tt-rss/db/basepath: tt-rss/upgrade-error: abort -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#699583: reportbug: Should automatically find the package name for a given executable
Package: reportbug Version: 6.4.3 Severity: wishlist if reportbug can't find a package by the name specified, it should check for packages that contain the executable / file specified.. If reportbug queries packages.debian.net then it could find a list of packages that contain the kscreenlocker executable and filter it by packages that the user has installed. Bug#699584: kscreenunlocker: Can't get back into desktop
Package: kde-workspace-bin Version: 4:4.8.4-5 Severity: normal 1. Lock PC and put headphones down on keyboard. 2. Come back to PC 15-20 minutes later. 3. I tried hitting Ctrl + A and delete, but it wasn't responsive. So I clicked enter. 4. kscreenunlocker freezes the PC for 2+ minutes, buttons and text disappears from the textbox so you really can't do anything from X. (http://imgur.com/mFV1o8F) 5. I hit Alt+F1 to switch to a terminal and log in. 6. Saw that kscreenunlocker was using over 90% CPU usage for over 2 minutes on a Quad-core i7 Processor. Had to kill kscreenunlocker manually. This is not the first time this has happened, my cat also likes to sleep on my laptop's keyboard because it's warm and I'm not able to get back into my desktop unless I manually kill kscreenunlocker. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.6-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kde-workspace-bin depends on: ii iso-codes 3.40-1 ii kde-runtime 4:4.8.4-2 pn kde-style-oxygen none ii kde-workspace-data4:4.8.4-5 ii kde-workspace-kgreet-plugins 4:4.8.4-5 ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libcln6 1.3.2-1.2 ii libfontconfig12.9.0-7.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-5 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 8.0.5-3 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libjpeg8 8d-1 ii libkactivities6 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkcmutils4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkdeclarative5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkdecore5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkdesu5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkdeui5 4:4.8.4-4 pn libkephal4abi1none ii libkfile4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkidletime4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkio5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libknewstuff3-4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libknotifyconfig4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkparts44:4.8.4-4 ii libkpty4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkrosscore4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkscreensaver5 4:4.8.4-5 pn libkworkspace4abi1none ii libnepomuk4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libnepomukquery4a 4:4.8.4-4 ii libpam0g 1.1.3-7.1 ii libphonon44:4.6.0.0-2 ii libplasma34:4.8.4-4 ii libplasmagenericshell44:4.8.4-5 ii libpng12-01.2.49-1 ii libprocesscore4abi1 4:4.8.4-5 ii libprocessui4a4:4.8.4-5 ii libqalculate5 0.9.7-8 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libqt4-declarative4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libqt4-sql4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libqt4-xml4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libqtcore44:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii libsm62:1.2.1-2 ii libsolid4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libsolidcontrol4abi2 4:4.8.4-5 ii libsolidcontrolifaces4abi24:4.8.4-5 ii libsoprano4 2.7.6+dfsg.1-2 ii libstdc++64.7.2-5 ii libstreamanalyzer00.7.7-3 ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-20+nmu1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxau6 1:1.0.7-1 ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.13-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.1-2 ii libxfixes31:5.0-4 ii libxft2 2.3.1-1 ii libxi62:1.6.1-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.2-1 ii libxkbfile1 1:1.0.8-1 ii libxrandr22:1.3.2-2 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.7-1 ii libxss1 1:1.2.2-1 ii libxtst6 2:1.2.1-1 ii phonon4:4.6.0.0-2 ii plasma-desktop4:4.8.4-5 ii qdbus 4:4.8.2+dfsg-10 ii x11-utils 7.7~1 ii x11-xserver-utils 7.7~3 Versions of packages kde-workspace-bin recommends: ii plasma-scriptengines 4:4.8.4-5 ii policykit-1-gnome 0.105-2 ii upower0.9.17-1 Versions of packages kde-workspace-bin suggests: ii x11-xkb-utils 7.7~1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
