I would like to say that I'm equally interested to see mupdf-gl in
Debian.

Thank you very much for your work. I can't help you in this task but
here is some moral support to keep your motivation. :-)

Thanks again,

Bug#916656: Requalifying severity from serious to important

2018-12-16 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Severity: important

I red about bug severities and I feel 'important' is more appropriate
for this bug than 'serious', so this is an attempt to requalify.

Thanks,

Bug#509421: sympa: New upstream version (5.4.4), fixes some security issues

Further info could be found here (in french, sorry):

  http://www.certa.ssi.gouv.fr/site/CERTA-2008-AVI-607/

According to this page, the vulnerabilities only affect the 5.4 branch
and indeed http://packages.qa.debian.org/s/sympa.html:

Stable 5.2.3-1.2+etch1
Stable Security Updates 5.2.3-1.2+etch1
Testing 5.3.4-6.1
Unstable5.3.4-6.1

So it appears that neither etch nor lenny is concerned.
Feel free to close this bug as the PTS now shows that the latest
version available is 5.4.4.

Cheers,

Bug#453442: /usr/sbin/fai-setup: line 147: missing comment?

2007-11-29 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs

Subject: /usr/sbin/fai-setup: line 147: missing comment ?
Package: fai-server
Version: 3.2.3
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***

Hello,

Using the lastest 3.2.3 for etch, fai-setup fails:

blues:/etc/fai# tail /var/log/fai/fai-setup.log
/usr/sbin/fai-setup: line 147: start: command not found

blues:/etc/fai# cat -n /usr/sbin/fai-setup.orig | grep 147
147 { start huge block for capturing output
  ^

It seems that it lacks a '#' before the comment text.

Hope this helps and thank you very much for developing FAI.

Cheers,

Emmanuel

Bug#407709: debian-installer: DEBIAN_FRONTEND=text : cannot chose language other than C/English

2007-01-20 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

Hello,

Using:

d-i daily build from 20-Jan-2007 09:57 netinst CD

http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/i386/iso-cd/debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso

with "install DEBIAN_FRONTEND=text", the first screen "Choose
language" shows only:

  1. C - No localization
  2. English- English [*]

and no more. It is for instance not possible to choose french. I'm not
shure if this is a bug but as all the supported languages are
available in the newt and GUI frontend, I guess it is. I didn't see
anything about that in the install manual.

On the next screen (country), it displays the 253 choices in one shot
without scrolling, so the choices are limited to the ~25 last countries.

Preseeding with "install DEBIAN_FRONTEND=text locale=fr_FR" is a
workaround.

Bug#340330: couriergraph: Y-axis caption should be "logins/hour" on the second graph

2005-11-22 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Package: couriergraph
Version: 0.24-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

On the web page from the CGI, the two RRD graphs for "Day Graphs"
have "logins/min" as y-axis caption. For the second graph, I think
it should be "logins/hour" as the legend says. Same for week, month
and year graphs.

It's probably a "copy'n'paste" problem.

Thank you very much for your involvement in Debian and FOSS.

Bug#335863: sympa: Missing '--system' in 'addgroup' command in postinst script

2005-10-26 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Package: sympa
Version: 4.1.5-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

I have just installed sympa for the first time and have noticed
that:

# getent passwd sympa
sympa:x:110:1002:Sympa mailing list manager:/var/lib/sympa:/bin/false
# getent group sympa
sympa:x:1002:

I think the GID should be the same that UID. This is due to
the lack of the '--system' option in the 'addgroup' command
in the postinst script:

# creating sympa group if he isn't already there
if ! grep -q ^sympa: /etc/group; then
echo Adding system group: sympa.
addgroup sympa
fi

It should be:

# creating sympa group if he isn't already there
if ! grep -q ^sympa: /etc/group; then
echo Adding system group: sympa.
addgroup --system sympa
fi

Hope this helps and thanks for your implication in Debian and FOSS.

Best regards,

Bug#321121: chrony: typo in 'Conflicts:' field: s/ntpsimple/ntp-simple/ and s/ntprefclock/ntp-refclock/

2005-08-03 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Package: chrony
Severity: normal

Hello,

Browsing for a simple ntp client on a fresh sarge install,
I seems to me that the Conflicts: field for chrony contains
typos :

cirage:~/tmp# apt-cache show chrony
Package: chrony
Priority: extra
Section: admin
Installed-Size: 796
Maintainer: John Hasler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Il should be ntp-simple and ntp-refclock.

Thanks for the time you give to Debian.
Cheers,

Bug#288779: kdebase-bin: Error when using "US international" keyboard layout

2005-01-10 Thread Emmanuel Halbwachs
Hello,
Emmanuel Halbwachs a écrit :
Shure I will. I've just run aptitude to update and -10 has not yet hit
my mirror. I usually do a daily update, so I will tell you ASAP.
I just did an upgrade for my sarge at work, the one with the US keyboard.
My X11 is now :
ii xserver-xfree86 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 the XFree86 X server
console-data and xserver-xfree86 are configured to use US plain keyboard
layout.
The us_intl keyboard is no longer broken
I think you can close this bug.
Thank you very much Adeodato for your help and thank you all for your
investment in free software and in Debian in particular.
