Hello, I am working under XFCE with Autostart of compiz/emerald or "compiz --replace". In this situation the effect of black Desktop turns up. And only with replayed Ctrl+Alt+h (Parcellite Clipboard) and ENTER I can the Desktop conjure up. Ergo the reason for this effect is the arrangement of XFCE and compiz after the last dist-upgrade of Distro siduction (trixie/sid). I think that is a fatal bug in XFCE. with regards Ch. All three hosts are connected via a gigabit switch. I conducted a bandwith test with iperf to send traffic from A to B. Hi, I have verified the problem again with VirtualBox 4.2.8 and Kernel 3.2.0-4-486 (Revision 3.2.35-2). The Installation of Guest Additions with this VirtualBox-Version (I think with 4.2.10 also) and your Kernel Revision 3.2.35-2) works well. I have also 3D-Grafik and Gnome 3 works well. -- Verifying archive integrity... All good.
