In case you notice its missing, I had previously commented out 'virtlogd-admin.socket' from line 386 of the postinst. The getnonfreefonts is only used for downloading proprietary software, so it should probably go in contrib rather then main. If it were in a separate package, or at least a major part of the package it is in, I'd agree with you. But IMO it doesn't make sense to split off a contrib package from texlive-base-bin for one small script. And AFAIR, this is also consense in the project - please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not aware of other package in main with similar downloading scripts, perhaps I've missed something myself though. If you take scripts in a somewhat broader context, the add-on mechanism of most browser qualifies. The add on mechanism of browsers supports downloading free extensions too. TTbOMK this script only downloads non-free/proprietary code. I'm closing this bug. The script itself is free software and creating a new package (or removing the script) is pretty much pointless. While I won't try and change the but status, could I ask why you think removing the script is pointless? There are two possibilites: 1) Move the script into its own package in contrib. 2) Remove it entirely. Looking at the age of the bug, it's pretty clear nobody is going to do either. And it is just a small part of a package, so the benefits simple outweigh the extra work. The right way to go from here is trying to get the fonts free. Everything else is just beating around the bush. If it were in a separate package, or at least a major part of the package it is in, I'd agree with you. But IMO it doesn't make sense to split off a contrib package from texlive-base-bin for one small script. And AFAIR, this is also consense in the project - please correct me if I'm wrong. Hi Karl (2011.12.14_01:57:05_+0200) Because pbuilder-dist is available in squeeze, but qemu-debootstrap isn't, I've downloaded the script from bug 572952 and I'm trying to use it with pbuilder-dist. Unfortunately, despite saying install or change DEBOOTSTRAP option it seems to ignore the environment and the users .pbuilderrc. Could this be changed please? It makes it excessively hard to use the thing, to the extent that you need to be able to edit roots pbuilderrc. pbuilder-dist is passing --debootstrap qemu-debootstrap to pbuilder. That overrides anything in pbuilderrc. Can you not put it somewhere on your PATH? Perhaps it shouldn't suggest using DEBOOTSTRAP option, if it simply ignores it. Bug#647342: RFP: derbyscoreboard -- Browser based roller derby scoreboard
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: derbyscoreboard Version : 0.2.0 Upstream Author : Mr Temper mrtem...@carolinarollergirls.com * URL : http://sf.net/projects/derbyscoreboard * License : GPL3+ or Apache 2+ Programming Lang: Java Description : Web browser based roller derby scoreboard I'm still trying to compose a good description for this package, so the long description is still TODO I'm afraid. Something along the lines of: Derbyscoreboard is a web browser based score and time tracking system for Roller Derby games. It offers several features, including: * Mobile phone based time management * Mobile phone based score updating * A central control screen with all settings available * A projectable scoreboard * Exact tracking of game state for later reply. The package currently embeds a number of jars. Some are provided in Debian at the correct versions, most of them are different. I'm not familiar enough with java to know if they could be trivially replaced, so any adopter would have to take that on. Also note that it bundles jdom-contrib, so may require it to be packaged before this rfp can be fulfilled. thanks, kk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. It has a 2D-isometric perspective. Are you planning to package the server or just the client? Will it include the extra data packs? Daimonin is open-source and accepts user-contributed content such as maps, music, art, code, and writing. It is currently in its fifth stable beta stage in which many new features are being added. The file 'Artistic License' in the daimonin_mapmaker package (which includes the server?) makes me worry about the dfsg freeness of some parts. Could you get games team/legal list to offer their thoughts? Its not new, but i've never been angered enough to write a bug about it until now :) These days, there is actually a record of messages from past turns stored the the server, if configured at runtime (the event cache). But there's no way for the client to retrieve it on demand; it's sent to the client when it first connects to a game. Perhaps some more facilities in this area would be useful. Nod. That would be nice. as it lacks a hotkey for access (as far as i can find). F9? fantastic! I must have missed that one when i went through and tested all the f keys before filing the ticket :/ kk -- Karl Goetz, (Kamping_Kaiser / VK5FOSS) Debian contributor / gNewSense Maintainer http://www.kgoetz.id.au No, I won't join your social networking group signature.asc Description: PGP signature

The packages for the most recent MTN build are at https://launchpad.net/~i2p.packages/+archive/snapshots/+sourcepub/1728536/+listing-archive-extra (the main page for the PPA is https://launchpad.net/~i2p.packages). It'll definitely be less painful to get it from the PPA. Fetching the dsc with dget should work fine too. I would be happy to take over the ITP (assuming I wouldn't be stepping on anyone's toes in doing so--this ITP seems kinda...dead).
