Bug#739878: [kdenlive] rendering profile for Webm format
Package: kdenlive Version: 0.9.6-5 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- At the moment default profile for webm format is broken. Audio bitrate is wrong and the video is not playable in Firefox. Even not in windows version of firefox. It was o.k. some time ago because webm video I have rendered in the past, have no such problems. Should be used parameters for webm described here? http://www.webmproject.org/docs/encoder-parameters/ But debian changed encoder from ffmpeg to avconv and documentations http://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Project_Menu/Render/Render_Profile_Parameters is probably no more valid. Example of rendering output (shown in terminal): //STARTING RENDERING: true , false , "/usr/bin/melt" , "atsc_720p_30" , "avformat" , "-" , "/tmp/kde-marek/kdenlives15702.mlt" , "/tmp/out.webm" , () , ("acodec=libvorbis", "ab=128k", "ar=44100", "aq=50", "vcodec=libvpx", "minrate=0", "vb=1000k", "aspect=@16/9", "maxrate=2000k", "g=120", "qmax=42", "qmin=10", "threads=1", "real_time=-1") , 0 , 247 Started render process: "/usr/bin/melt" "/tmp/kde-marek/kdenlives15702.mlt in=0 out=247 -profile atsc_720p_30 -consumer avformat:/tmp/out.webm progress=1 acodec=libvorbis ab=128k ar=44100 aq=50 vcodec=libvpx minrate=0 vb=1000k aspect=@16/9 maxrate=2000k g=120 qmax=42 qmin=10 threads=1 real_time=-1" Rendering of "/tmp/out.webm" finished. It can not be even recognized as video file. It is marked as audio file. If you try press a few times on the progress bar somewhere inside of this stream it starts to play. Bug#708442: [approx] system upgrade to Jessie
I have found the Problem. I have started update without network connection. In the directory /var/cache/approx/debian/dists/jessie were then copied some zero length files like Packages.gz and other. As described in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=655986 I have restored internet connection and deleted whole directory /var/cache/approx/debian/dists/jessie started update again and it seems to work properly. What will delete approx-gc now? Older packages that are no more in Jessie? Although they are still present in Wheezy?
