Bug#493862: blender: tiling WM startup error
Package: blender Version: 2.46+dfsg-3 Severity: normal I use Wmii as window manager and threre are Nvidia drivers installed (for an 8600GT). When I start Blender, it is displayed fullscreen and I can't click menus with the mouse. Tthe pointer moves but clicking does nothing within the Blender window, except the splash image disappears when left-clicking (which usually happens as soon as you move the mouse after Blender startup). I have to either toggle fullscreen or managed space for Blender in order to use Blender normally. These two commands are Wmii specific (Modkey+F=toggle full screen and Modkey+SPACE=toggle managed space). After doing one of these commands Blender is fine. Blender usually starts without borders but starting it with 'blender -w' doesn't change anything. This (-w) option should cause Blender to start in managed space like all application windows do which don't have a specified size (everything but pop-ups). I'm not sure if this is a seperate issue. Bug#493862: Wmii's fault
Hi! I figured it maybe a Blender issue since Wmii doesn't really do anything special I'd guess. If an application forces a specified size, then it will be treated like a popup window. Other full screen 2D, 3D and SDL applications don't have a problem with Wmii either. The -w option should let Blender behave like any other application at least. Also this border issue occurs in Gnome too IIRC (I had it in Ubuntu). Regards, Sladan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#493862: previous bugreport
Hi! I didnt want to clutter the bugreport.About the link you provided: I haven't had a problem with TVtime anymore. I don't use xfmedia anymore but I think these were related to Nvidia drivers since I saw something similar (one pixel high video window) on their forums and xfmedia didn't have the issue anymore in the end. It might be Nvidia related. Regards, Sladan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#483311: radio: won't find stations properly
Package: radio Version: 3.95.dfsg.1-8 Severity: important Hi, -s doesn't work and therefore -i too (#279093). While scanning it shows the frequency and signal strentgh I guess? For me that second number varies from six to about thirty. The high numbers are where stations are according to frequency. After typing radio -c /dev/radio0 -s radio outputs: baseline at 6.10 Station 0: 87.60 MHz - 6.60 Station 1: 88.00 MHz - 6.60 Station 2: 89.70 MHz - 6.60 Station 3: 98.85 MHz - 6.60 Station 4: 99.10 MHz - 6.60 tuned 87.60 MHz Actually the first station is at 87.70 and while scanning the second nuber is 32.00 and I can tune in manually and do hear radio. The scan didn't catch that. I have cable network radio and use an Asus Mycinema 7131 (Philips 7134 driver). Tvtime works fine for example. I geuss it looks for strentgh above 50.00?
