Bug#754871: cifs-utils: mount error: cifs filesystem not supported by the system

2014-07-15 Thread Willian Gustavo Veiga
Package: cifs-utils
Version: 2:6.3-1
Severity: important

When I try to mount a samba share I get the following error:

# mount -t cifs -o rw,user=username,password=somepassword,uid=1000,gid=1000
//10.2.1.10/sistemaasp/ /tmp/dev/
mount error: cifs filesystem not supported by the system
mount error(19): No such device
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

This mount point, username and password are correct. It used to work until
today.

My coworkers are using it the same way, right now (with CentOS).

My uid/gid:
$ id
uid=1000(username) gid=1000(username)
groups=1000(username),24(cdrom),25(floppy),29(audio),30(dip),44(video),46(plugdev)

modprobe doesn't work either:
# modprobe cifs
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'cifs': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown
parameter (see dmesg)

and finally, dmesg:
# dmesg | grep -i cifs
[ 2208.446665] cifs: Unknown symbol __test_set_page_writeback (err 0)
[ 2218.230996] cifs: Unknown symbol __test_set_page_writeback (err 0)

Bug#637913: SyntaxHighlighter - "copy to clipboard" doesn't work

2012-02-09 Thread Willian Gustavo Veiga

"No Flash Copy To Clipboard

Since the first version back in 2004, SyntaxHighlighter has always used
Flash to provide copy to clipboard functionality. At first it was Flash
8, then it was Flash 9 and now 10. It's never been a crowd pleaser and a
lot of requests over the years demanded Flash to be removed.

Well, it's finally happening -- no more Flash. I think I've came up with
user interface to copy code to clipboard which is a lot more intuitive
and almost too easy."
(http://alexgorbatchev.com/SyntaxHighlighter/whatsnew.html#copytoclipboard)

This bug can be closed.

Thank you.

The symbolic links /usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/default.ttf and

Workaround:

# ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/mgopen/MgOpenCosmeticaRegular.ttf
default.ttf
# ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/mgopen/MgOpenCosmeticaRegular.ttf

Bug#635840: TP-Link TL-WN821N v2 doesn't work with kernel 3.0

2011-07-28 Thread Willian Gustavo Veiga
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 3.0.0-1
Severity: normal
Tags: sid

I cannot raise up my wireless interface using kernel 3.0:

# ifconfig wlan0 up
wla0n: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

With kernel 2.6.39 I'm able to run the same command and get a stable connection
(using wpa_supplicant).

I've used ar9170usb module but now it was removed and replaced by carl9170
(http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ar9170)

# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0cf3:1002 Atheros Communications, Inc. TP-Link TL-WN821N
v2 [Atheros AR9001U-(2)NG]

dmesg doesn't give any useful information about how my device was registered.

Thank you and sorry about my english.

Bug#546741: Driver for SiS 771/671

2011-02-23 Thread Willian Gustavo Veiga

I have the same issue here.

Paulo Zanoni from Mandriva (pzanoni [at] mandriva dot com) is the
maintainer of this driver. He applies patches from
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-sis/ to
http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/x11-driver-video-sisimedia/current/
.

I agree with Jonatas. An alternative package would be great! There are
many people suffering with this driver.

Thank you.

Bug#587192: X crashs when VLC's video is set to fullscreen

2010-06-25 Thread Willian Gustavo Veiga
Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.5+6
Severity: normal
Tags: sid

I don't know what package is related with this bug but i guess it's xserver-
xorg. Sorry if i'm wrong and sorry about my english.

I'm using this driver http://ncc-1701a.homelinux.net/~linux-sis/downloads/xorg-
driver-sis671-0.9.1.tar.gz because sis doesn't work and vesa has a low
resolution (<= 800x600).

When I watch something with VLC in fullscreen, X crashes. I don't know why. Two
weeks ago, with this same driver, it was working. I just formated my laptop and
now it's not working anymore.

Thank you.
