 Features:
 .
 - API inspired by 'kubectl' to reduce the developer learning curve.
 - Sensible standards for reducing boilerplate.
 - No hubris-generated code, just human-readable code.
 - It also has an asynchronous API that can be used with 'asyncio' and 'trio'.
 - Client caching to reduce API object passing.
 - Batteries included providing useful utilities and methods inspired by
   'kubectl'.

Description : recovers passwords from pixelized screenshots

Depix is a tool for recovering passwords from pixelized screenshots.
 .
Pixelization describes the process of partially lowering the resolution of an
image to censor information. The implementation of this algorithm attacks the
common linear box filter. A linear box filter takes a box of pixels, and
overwrites the pixels with the average value of all pixels in the box. Its
implementation is simple and its workings fast, for it can process multiple
 blocks in parallel.
 .
This implementation works on pixelized images that were created with a linear
 box filter.

This package can find query parameters for URL endpoints. If you don't get

 .
Web applications use parameters (or queries) to accept user input, take the
 following example into consideration:
 http://api.example.com/v1/userinfo?id=751634589
 .
This URL seems to load user information for a specific user id, but what if
there exists a parameter named admin which when set to True makes the
endpoint provide more information about the user?
This is what Arjun does, it finds valid HTTP parameters with a huge default
 dictionary of 25,890 parameter names.

Bug#1025083: bullseye-pu: package omnievents/1:2.6.2-5.1+deb11u1

Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
Tags: bullseye
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org

X-Debbugs-Cc: guilherme@gmail.com

[ Reason ]
This is not a regression, but a discovered bug.

omnievents enables CORBA applications to communicate through asynchronous
broadcast channels rather than direct method calls.

omnievents-doc is a package that can be installed as a suggestion of
omnievents containing the documentation of package, but which cannot be fully
used due to broken symlink.

[ Impact ]
If not approved, the package documentation cannot be used in its entirety.

[ Tests ]
The package has been tested in stable, testing and unstable versions. Tests
using pipuparts were made using '--fail-on-broken-symlinks' option and after
the correction the problem was no longer found.

The command used in the test was:

# piuparts --fail-on-broken-symlinks omnievents-doc_2.6.2-5.1+deb11u1_all.deb

[ Risks ]
This is a trivial change, no risks.

[x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[x] attach debdiff against the package in (old)stable

[ Changes ]
The fix was made in the debian/control file by adding the 'libjs-jquery'
dependency to the 'omnievents-doc' package.
Please, see the debdiff.

Description : Save your dotfiles once deploy them everywhere

Makes the management of dotfiles between different hosts easy. It allows
you to store your dotfiles in Git and automagically deploy different versions
of the same file on different setups.

It also allows to manage different sets of dotfiles. For example, you can have
a set of dotfiles for your home laptop and a different set for your office
desktop. Those sets may overlap, and different versions of the same dotfiles
can be deployed using different predefined profiles. Or you may have a main
set of dotfiles
for your everyday host and a subset you only need to deploy to temporary hosts
(cloud VM etc.)
that may be using a slightly different version of some of the dotfiles.

 Features:

Sync once every dotfile in Git for different usages
 Allow dotfile templating
Dynamically generated dotfile contents with pre-defined variables
Comparison between deployed and stored dotfiles
Handling multiple profiles with different sets of dotfiles
 Easily import and update dotfiles
 Handle files and directories
 Support symlinking of dotfiles
Associate actions to the deployment of specific dotfiles
Associate transformations for storing encrypted/compressed dotfiles
Provide solutions for handling dotfiles containing sensitive information

Andrius,

Cool, I'll review your previous packaging, it will be a pleasure.
You can be sure it will help and I thank you for your help.

Initially what caught my attention was that it was a Python package.
Currently I have focused my studies on this language and I have been
looking to package programs along this line. However we are currently
deploying a queue service in the company and we are between Kafka and
RabbitMQ so I merged those two things.

One question, are you interested in being my Sponsor in this package? If
it's a problem, ignore it.

Thanks.

   - Map/filter mocks easily for generic or custom mock expectations.
   - Custom user-defined mock matcher functions.
   - Simulated raised error exceptions.
   - Network delay simulation (only available for aiohttp).
   - Pluggable and hackable API.
   - Customizable HTTP traffic mock interceptor engine.
   - Supports third-party mocking engines, such as mocket.
   - Fits good for painless test doubles.
   - Does not support WebSocket traffic mocking.
   - Works with Python +2.7 and +3.0 (including PyPy).
   - Dependency-less: just 2 small dependencies for JSONSchema and XML tree
comparison.

My intent is to package this software under the umbrella of the Debian
 Python team.

 Thanks,
 Guilherme Xavier

Hello Christoph Biedl,

I have new information regarding Schroot. In contacting the package upstream I

interested in maintaining the package.

Do you want me to return the bug to your property or orphan it?

Bug#895386: qt3d5-dev: Package doesn't include dir /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DExtras

2018-04-10 Thread José de Paula Rodrigues
Package: qt3d5-dev
Version: 5.10.1+dfsg-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When trying to build QGis 3.0 from source, at some point CMake reports
the following error:

CMake Error at
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/cmake/Qt53DExtras/Qt53DExtrasConfig.cmake:27
(message):
The imported target "Qt5::3DExtras" references the file

 "/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DExtras"

but this file does not exist. Possible reasons include:

  * The file was deleted, renamed, or moved to another location.

  * An install or uninstall procedure did not complete successfully.

  * The installation package was faulty and contained

"/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/cmake/Qt53DExtras/Qt53DExtrasConfig.cmake"

but not all the files it references.

The directory and its contents is included in the upstream source tarball, but
for some reason didn't make to the Debian package.

In fact, the source tarball has 13 directories under include:

~/software/qt3d-everywhere-src-5.10.1/include]$ ls -ld
Qt3DAnimation
Qt3DCore
Qt3DCoreTest
Qt3DExtras
Qt3DInput
Qt3DLogic
Qt3DQuick
Qt3DQuickAnimation
Qt3DQuickExtras
Qt3DQuickInput
Qt3DQuickRender
Qt3DQuickScene2D
Qt3DRender

whereas qt3d5-dev only has the following 8:

$ ls -d /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3D*
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DCore
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DExtras
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DInput
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DLogic
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DQuick
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DQuickInput
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DQuickRender
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DQuickScene2D
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/Qt3DRender

Manually copying Qt3DExtras from the source tarball to the system include dir
solves the problem for me; I believe the package should include all those files
from the source tarball. Thanks.

Bug#802509: libboost-coroutine-dev: The boost-coroutine library is only compiled as a static library

It makes the library completely unusable for me, since I need to link to
it from a shared object. I imagine I am not the only one attempting to
do that.

Right now I am forced to drop crucial functionality in Debian for a
library that I develop (http://graph-tool.skewed.de) simply because of
this bug.

BTW, the fix should be fairly trivial.

I wonder why this library is being compiled static-only in the first
place, since this is not the default in Debian. All other boost
libraries are compiled as shared objects as well.

Best,
Tiago

Bug#808294: libtext-iconv-perl: Should not depend on perlapi-5.20.0 on amd64

2015-12-18 Thread José de Paula Rodrigues N . Assis

Package: libtext-iconv-perl
Version: 1.7-5+b2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When doing my daily dist-upgrade, I stumbled upon this uninstallable
package, because perlapi-5.20.0 doesn't exist anymore on Deban Sid; it
is provided by perl-base. I believe that if the explicit dependence is
removed, the package will be installed fine. It is important because
without it, I cannot install several important KDE apps further up on
the dependency chain.

Bug#802509: libboost-coroutine-dev: The boost-coroutine library is only compiled as a static library

2015-10-20 Thread Tiago de Paula Peixoto
Package: libboost-coroutine-dev
Version: 1.58.0.1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

The boost-coroutine library is currently only compiled as a static
library, while all other boost libraries are compiled also as shared
objects.

Static librares cannot be linked against shared objects, and hence
this renders this library useless by other libraries and plugins.

AFAIK, there is no reason to compile it as a shared object, since that
is what most other distros do.

Best,
Tiago

Sorry, I've forgot to mention, the binary would be:
 python3-graph-tool.

Hmmm, this sounds unusual as well to me. Could you please clarify
whether it is a python3 module or rater a user oriented application? In
case of the later please stick to graph-tool as the binary name. For
user applications it does not make any sense to add the programming
 language to the package name.

graph-tool is a python module, not a user oriented application.

Bug#319244: Apply upstream's improved LPK-patch substitution

2011-09-08 Thread Dora Paula

Hi,

I've been a great fan of the lpk-patch, too, at least until today:

The LPK-patch seems to be obsolete in the near future because a by far
more flexible, powerfull and even smaller patch has been discussed
upstream and already been published within upstream's bugzilla.

Related upstream discussion can be accessed here:
http://marc.info/?l=openssh-unix-devm=127617868901534w=2

The patch against 5.8p2 is published here:
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1663

And last but not least:
This feature is included in last releases of Fedora and RHEL6
products. (stated here:
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1663#c18)

In my opinion the chances seem to be quite good that this patch (or at
least its principle) will be integrated into upstream's release and
there is no need for lpk in the future any more.

Compared to lpk, the AuthorizedKeysCommand is not just limited to ldap
comunication but can also lookup public keys using sql for example...

As the latest fedora and rhel release do already ship with this small
patch applied, let me please suggest to add this upstream-patch to
openssh-server's debian/rules/patches directory, too.

Thank you very much in advance!

Cheers
Dora

Bug#492840: #492840

2008-08-11 Thread Paula Keezer
The root cause of this problem is file system case sensitivity. The latest
Debian kernel default option for vfat file system (file system on the ipod)
sets a parameter called shortname to lower e.g. shortname=lower. This
forces all short names to be lower case. Ipods have short file names for
the music directories and for the music files. The ipod data base has the
correct case for these, as a result, when rhythmbox or your file system
manager, or amarok or any device reads from the ipod it gets lower case for
all short file names, while the database that rhymbox created for your ipod
has the file name in upper case.

The solution is to override the default 'shortname=lower' to
'shortname=mixed' This works on my system. Under the gnome desktop there
is a tool ApplicationsSystem ToolsConfiguration Editor that can be used to
override the default setting. After loading the Configuration Editor,
select systemstoragedefault_optionsvfat and edit the mount_options.

If you are not using gnome then you will have to find another way to change
the mount options that are used when your ipod is mounted.

Anyone at Debian reading this, please consider changeing the default mount
option for vfat in the kernel. I will save iPod users a ton of greif.

Good luck,

Paula

Bug#292546: psclient -- a command line utility for acessing ps2link/ps2netfs

2005-01-27 Thread José de Paula Eufrásio Juúnior

Description : a command line utility for acessing ps2link/ps2netfs
Designed for command line usage, ps2client is an alternative
to pksh that allows you to control ps2link/ps2netfs in an
entirely non-interactive way.
PS2Link allows you to send commands to a Playstation2 console
with network adapter. Commands can be used to upload binaries
to the console, run binaries and listen for messages from the
Playstation2.
PS2NetFS controls the devices on a Playstation2 (ie: memcard)
and allows mounting, unmounting, copying from and to these
devices.
New features in version 2 include the addition of wxvu and
ps2netfs commands, documentation of the ps2link and ps2netfs
protocols and a script-friendly timeout feature.
