Bug#1054008: linux-image-6.5.0-2-amd64: Can't boot due to ACPI Error (GPE0D)

2023-10-15 Thread Pelle
Package: src:linux
Version: 6.5.6-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading to Linux 6.5, after the GRUB splash screen, instead of booting
as usual, I get a rapidly looping message:

ACPI Error: No handler or method for GPE0D, disabling event
(20230331/evgpe-839)

The device boots fine when selecting Linux 6.4 from the GRUB menu.

Bug#1042578: aerc: No Reply-To completion

2023-07-30 Thread Pelle
Package: aerc
Version: 0.15.2-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear aerc maintainer,

There's no address book completion for the Reply-To field in the header when
composing emails.

To reproduce:
   * Enable address book completion in aerc.conf: `address-book-cmd=abook
--mutt-query %s`
   * Add the Reply-To header to the compose window
   * When entering an email address in the reply-to field, there's no completion

I think it would make sense if address book completion was enabled for the
reply-to header field like it is for other fields for entering email addresses
(From, To, CC, BCC).

2023-07-30 Thread Pelle
Package: sway-notification-center
Version: 0.9.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Sway notification centre maintainer,

When a notification is displayed in swaync, there's a seemingly irrelevant
error displayed alongside it:

Failed to run script: example-script
Output:

To reproduce:
* Run `swaync`
* Run `notify-send "hello world"`
* The notification is shown along with an example-script error

I was expecting to just see the "hello world" notification, not an error
notification.

Bug#1041119: aerc: Raw HTML when quoting HTML email

2023-07-14 Thread Pelle
Package: aerc
Version: 0.15.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear aerc maintainer,

When creating a quoted reply to an email that _only_ has an HTML part, the
quoted email is in raw HTML:

>
>
>
>
> ...

I was hoping that the quote by default would be converted to plaintext.

I worked around this by editing the quoted_reply template to use lynx to dump
the rendered HTML:

```
X-Mailer: aerc {{version}}
On {{dateFormat (.OriginalDate | toLocal) "Mon Jan 2, 2006 at 3:04 PM MST"}},
{{(index .OriginalFrom 0).Name}} wrote:
{{if eq .OriginalMIMEType "text/html"}}
{{quote (.OriginalText | exec `lynx -dump -stdin`)}}
{{else}}
{{quote .OriginalText}}
{{end}}
```

Would it make sense to have something like that as default behaviour, perhaps
using w3m which is already a recommended dependency?

Bug#1040907: aerc: Freeze when pasting to body on email compose

I'm having the issue in Sway. I've noticed that the freeze happens in vim when
pasting with `CTRL+V` or `SHIFT+INSERT` while pasting works fine with `p`.

Bug#1040907: aerc: Freeze when pasting to body on email compose

2023-07-12 Thread Pelle
Package: aerc
Version: 0.15.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear aerc maintainer,

I find that aerc almost always freezes when pasting into the compose area.

It can easily be reproduced here:
   * Open aerc.
   * Compose an email.
   * Move cursor from headers onto the email body compose area.
   * In another window, open a text editor, enter "hello world" 100 times and
copy it.
   * Back in aerc, paste into the compose area by `SHIFT+INSERT`
   * Some of the text will be pasted, but then aerc will get stuck, sometimes
like "hell|"
   * Aerc stops responding to any input, including `CTRL+C`

I have tested an confirmed this is an issue whether using vim or nvim text
editor, and whether using kitty, alacritty or foot terminal emulator.

Bug#1011007: cage: Video output freezes until window resize

Package: cage
Version: 0.1.4-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When running applications in Cage inside Sway, the video output occassionally
freezes up completely. Resizing Cage appears to resume the output.

I am not sure what triggers this but it happens often. When running `cage
kitty`,
sometimes the output will freeze before the shell prompt is even
displayed.

I have also observed this issue with `cage foot` and `cage firefox`, so
it's unlikely to be specific to the application running inside Cage.

Bug#987360: swaylock: Occassional unlock without password entered

2022-04-11 Thread Pelle

I cannot answer for Pelle, but I was also experiencing this bug back
when it was reported. FWIW: I'm unable to reproduce it with 1.6-1. That
being said, triggering the bug does seem somewhat stochastic, so I can't
rule out that a bunch more suspend/resume cycles would trigger it. But
so far, so good!

Same here, no crashes recently, yay, however, I think that this crash bug
illustrates the more general issue that the lock screen is bypassed on
any crash. Swaylock should be able to restart itself on failure, perhaps
with a daemon. There could be more vulnerabilities of this class, right?
I believe XScreensaver has a strategy for mitigating these types of
vulns too.

Thank you so much for your work. I wish I knew C and could help, but now
I can only complain and hope someone else fixes it. I could probably
write a daemon in shell script though if such a patch would be accepted,
although there are probably more elegant solutions to this in the swaylock code itself.

Bug#994557: sway: Wine program windows don't update

2021-09-17 Thread Pelle
Package: sway
Version: 1.6-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When I run a Wine program, such as explorer.exe,

$ wine explorer.exe

it shows up, but the window content isn't updated. The mouse cursor is
not displayed when hovering over, and it doesn't change size on resize
so contents don't fit the window. You can interact with keyboard
although the GUI is only updated on some occasions, like close
confirmation dialog when closing notepad.exe; but when typing name for
the file to save, the text field is not updated.

I expected Wine application GUIs to update correctly in Sway, so that I
can browse the web with iexplore.exe and play winemine.exe

Bug#993969: sway: Unusable collapsed dropdown menus

2021-09-08 Thread Pelle
Package: sway
Version: 1.5.1-2
Severity: normal
Tags: a11y

Dear Maintainer,

I'm using Gimp for some image editing in Sway. When the workspace that
Gimp is on is set to use stacked or tabbed layout then the 'Edit' menu
shows up in a collapsed state with only arrows and 1 pixel of menu text
visible. Same with 'View' and 'Image'. In the default layout, the
'Image' dropdown looks fine, but 'Edit' and 'View' don't show up at all.
It looks like this happens when the dropdown menu is to tall for my
laptop screen.

I expected a scrollable dropdown to show the actual menu content, and
I expected it to show up regardless of chosen workspace layout in Sway.

Bug#986769: wireshark: Dropdown menus invisible in Sway

The drop-down menus in the main menu don't work: File, Edit, View, Go,

When running Wireshark in Sway with a newly created user, the drop-downs
work. However, I haven't intentionally changed any Qt configuration, and
neither `.qt`, `.config/Trolltech/` or `.config/Trolltech.conf` exist.
I'm not sure where else accidentally created Qt configuration could be hiding.

Bug#988091: batalert: Fails to start because BAT0 is assumed

2021-05-05 Thread Pelle

This appears to be caused by batalert making an incorrect assumption
about the battery name:

```
$ ls /sys/class/power_supply/
I expected batalert to either correctly detect the device battery name or at
least to provide a flag for setting it.
Dear Maintainer,
This will keeps happening the first few times I try connecting, but it always
connects eventually. I was expecting that when I clicked *Connect*, than
Blueman would then connect to the device (perhaps automatically retry upon
failure) instead of me having to repeatedly click on the same menu item.
I added a new user to the system. When starting Sway and Pragha with the
default settings, the columns selection pop up does indeed show up. It
must then be a configuration issue, perhaps some GTK settings rather
than an issue with Pragha. I'm have no idea which setting, but it's
strange that it appears to only be affecting Pragha.
Bug#986862: lollypop: Filename args doesn't work when Lollypop is already running
2021-04-13 Thread Pelle
On 13/04/2021 01:41, Andreas Ronnquist wrote:
Thanks for your report - I can reproduce the problem to some extent.
Does this change things?
I tried specifying the path in various ways to Lollypop:
 * `lollypop foo.mp3`
 * `lollypop ~/foo.mp3`
 * `lollypop $HOME/foo.mp3`
 * `lollypop /home/pelle/foo.mp3`
I thought I'd narrowed down a specific path formatting issue.
I ran those commands again, just to check, but now they gave a different
result. Then I tried running `lollypop /home/pelle/foo.mp3` over and
over again, and this resulted in foo.mp3 being played about 10% of the
time, and a random track the rest of the time. The behaviour appears to
be nondeterministic.
What settings to you have for playback? Anything exotic, like
"Continuous playback", "Automatic playback (random)" or "Automatic
playback (similar)"?
No, none of those are enabled. I haven't changed the default playback
settings.
Package: pragha
Dear Maintainer,
It appears there is no way to sort an album (or several albums in a playlist)
by track order. The available column headers for sorting are 'Title', 'Artist',
'Album' and 'Length'. When clicking on 'Album' to sort the tracks into albums,
the track order within those albums will be either alphabetical by title or by
length, depending on what sort mode was previously selected. I expected it
would be possible to sort the playlist by track order within their respective
albums so they could be played in the order the appear on the album(s).
Bug#986858: quodlibet: Crashes when playing any audio feed
2021-04-12 Thread Pelle
Package: quodlibet
Version: 4.4.0-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
QuodLibet crashes when trying to play anything from an audio feed. To reproduce
this issue, go to Browse -> Audio Feeds, add a new audio feed (e.g.
http://www.democracynow.org/podcast.xml ), then double-click on any entry in
the feed and Quodlibet crashes.
I tested QuodLibet 4.4.0-1 and 4.3.0-1, and both versions have this issue.
Bug#986769: wireshark: Dropdown menus invisible in Sway
2021-04-11 Thread Pelle
Package: wireshark
Version: 3.4.4-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Wireshark's dropdown menus are invisible in Sway (the Wayland compositor). The
invisible dropdown menu entries can't be clicked but they can still be
activated via keyboard. The dropdown menus in other QT-based apps (VLC, Krita,
…) work fine in Sway.
A workaround is to run `ssh -X localhost wireshark` in Sway, or to run
Wireshark inside Weston.
Bug#986002: gimp: Cage transform creates visual glitches
2021-03-27 Thread Pelle
Package: gimp
Version: 2.10.22-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Cage transform creates visual glitches. These glitches appear just after
selecting the cage transform area, before any transformation are applied at
all. Sometimes these glitches appear in a totally different part of the image
than where the cage selection is at.
To reproduce:
  - Create a new 256x256 image
  - Put a bell pepper stamp in the upper left corner
  - Make a four point selection using the cage transform tool on the bell
pepper in the upper left corner
  - Now a large visual glitch (a heavily geometrically distorted bell pepper
but no distorted colours) may appear in the lower right corner
  - After pressing Enter to apply the cage transform, the visual glitch will
stay in the image, even if to points of the cage transform selection were moved
anywhere
Bug#985205: sway: Tray icons not clickable
2021-03-14 Thread Pelle
Package: sway
Version: 1.5.1-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I have launched some applications that display tray icons:
$ redshift-gtk &
$ nm-applet --indicator &
$ blueman-applet &
However, when clicking any of these icons, nothing happens. I expected the tray
icons to respond to being clicked. For nm-applet that would mean showing the
network connections menu, etc.
Bug#983873: retroarch: Menu freezes shortly after start
2021-03-13 Thread Pelle
Are you using sway as compositor? I reproduced the freezing behaviour
when running under sway. In a GNOME session on Wayland, retroarch
seems to work fine.
Yes, I'm using Sway.
The message "Failed to create shell" helped me find what I think is
the corresponding upstream issue:
https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/7064
It's unfortunate that retroarch wasn't updated for bullseye, but I'm
not sure trying to backport the xdg-shell feature to this version of
retroarch is a good idea now that bullseye is in hard freeze.
I notice a similar bug in other packages in Debian Sid, such as ChessX.
Would it make sense to report a bug with each of those packages, or
would this be considered an issue with Sway / wlroots / xdg-shell?
Bug#983873: retroarch: Menu freezes shortly after start
2021-03-12 Thread Pelle
I'm using X11 (not Wayland)
The issue happens on Wayland. On X11 the RetroArch menu works (although
some of the menu icons are black squares and a few other glitches).
If the 1.9.0 you tested was the flatpak, I wonder whether it's
possible for you to also to test a flatpak of 1.7.3, in case there is
a relevant difference in the build environment or the libraries used?
The oldest available version of RetroArch on Flathub is 1.7.6:
   $ flatpak update
--commit=a437b0ef4eb1f1563d84a8ec881b9f19eb9fb84c06b35ecafe4ce85d5aad918a
org.libretro.RetroArch
That version does have the menu freeze issue under Wayland which I guess
means that the issue has been fixed in upstream.
Could you please run it as "retroarch --verbose" and post some or all
of the output up to the point where it freezes?
Bug#984976: mumble: Keyboard shortcuts can't be assigned
2021-03-11 Thread Pelle
Package: mumble
Version: 1.3.4-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
In the "Shortcuts" settings, when I add a new shortcut and click in the
"Shortcut" column, a "Press Shortcut" label is shown. However, it is not
possible to assign a shortcut, regardless of which key is pressed, and the
"Press Shortcut" label remains, until I click somewhere else.
I expected a key name to be listed in the "Shortcut" column after I pressed the
key while the "Press Shortcut" label was visible. This issue may be because I'm
running a Wayland compositor (Sway).
Dear Maintainer,
PyChess keeps playing sound effects, even when "Use sounds in PyChess" is
reenabled every time PyChess is launched. I expect PyChess to not play sounds
when "Use sounds in PyChess" is unchecked, and I expect the setting to persist
after quitting and relaunching PyChess.
Version: 1.7.3+dfsg1-1.1+b2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
When launching RetroArch, the menu freezes up instantly or after a couple of
seconds.
A work-around is to change the settings in .config/retroarch/retroarch.cfg
menu_driver = "rgui"
video_driver = "sdl2"
The issue appears to be resolved in v1.9.0 which is the version currently
available as flatpak.
This crash happens when the fonts-aenigma package is installed. Without
Bug#981272: inkscape: Freeze and crash when clicking on font family selector drop-down arrow
2021-01-28 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: inkscape
Version: 1.0.2-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
When I open Inkscape, click on the text object tool and then click on the drop-
down arrow at the right of the font family selector, then Inkscape freezes for
half a minute and the window disappears, leaving this message in the terminal:
```
Gdk-Message: 16:39:30.465: Error 71 (Protocol error) dispatching to Wayland
display.
```
This happens every time that drop-down arrow is clicked. The font family field
itself works fine. It's only the drop-down arrow that crashes the application.
Bug#981005: linux-image-5.10.0-2-amd64: Bluetooth stopped working
2021-01-25 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: src:linux
Version: 5.10.9-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software
Dear Maintainer,
After upgrading to Linux 5.10, Bluetooth no longer works. Bluetooth
adapter still shows up in rfkill:
```
$ rfkill
ID TYPE  DEVICE SOFT  HARD
 0 bluetooth Toshiba Bluetooth unblocked unblocked
 1 wlan  phy0  unblocked unblocked
 2 bluetooth hci0  unblocked unblocked
```
But the Bluetooth managers can no longer find the adapter:
```
$ blueman-manager
blueman-manager version 2.1.4 starting
blueman-manager 14.52.26 ERRORManager:118 on_dbus_name_appeared: Default
adapter not found, trying first available.
blueman-manager 14.52.26 ERRORManager:122 on_dbus_name_appeared: No
adapter(s) found, exiting
```
When booting from Linux 5.9, Bluetooth works fine.
During start-up with Linux 5.10, there's an error message about
Bluetooth firmware.
Bug#970485: ITP: loadem -- Command line tool for emulating web load from thousands of clients.
2020-09-16 Thread Pelle Johnsen
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: pelle.john...@gmail.com
* Package name: loadem
  Version : 0.2.2
  Upstream Author : Pelle Johnsen
* URL : https://github.com/pjoe/loadem
* License : Apache-2.0
  Programming Lang: Rust
  Description : Command line tool for emulating web load from thousands
of clients.
Aims to be easy to use and providing near real-time performance
measurements of the application under test. This is particulary
useful when you are doing optimization as you can see the impact
of your changes almost immediately.
Somewhat similar to siege, but implemented in Rust for great
performance and maintainablility. Also more focus on real-time
feedback.
Developed on GitHub with CI building xplatform for windows/linux/mac.
Bug#891879: closed by Jeremy Bicha (Bug#891879: fixed in gnome-chess 1:3.28.0-2)
2018-03-24 Thread Pelle Hjek
Hi maintainer,
I'm not sure this bug has been resolved yet.
When I search for gnome-chess with apt, it is described as having 3D graphics:
% apt search gnome-chess
Sorting... Done
Full Text Search... Done
gnome-chess/unstable,now 1:3.28.0-1 i386 [installed]
  chess game with 3D graphics
However, the most recent version does not have 3D graphics. Perhaps the package
description could be changed to not mention 3D graphics (or 3D graphics could
be implemented)?
Bug#893907: lynx: The subdomain name 'news' freezes Lynx
2018-03-23 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: lynx
Version: 2.8.9dev16-3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
When I use Lynx to read a web page, it freezes when the web page starts
with the subdomain 'news.' For example, on the terminal when I type in
this:
lynx news.ycombinator.com
Then Lynx freezes while displaying this message in the status bar:
Making NNTP connection to news.ycombinator.com
Lynx handles https://news.ycombinator.com just fine, but when https://
is missing, Lynx just assumes that I'm looking for something one Usenet.
Same problem with news.google.com, news.yahoo.com, etc.
I think it would be more reasonable if Lynx assumed HTTP unless told
otherwise, or perhaps had a time out in case NNTP lookup failed.
Freezing indefinitely is not the best option in that case.
It does! Thanks.
I was looking in the wrong readme file ( /usr/share/doc/searx/README.rst ) as
it was the only help file that appeared in when I ran 'dpkg -L searx'.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to mention that README in the error message, or
in the (currently non-existent) man page?
I am encountering what is possibly the same bug here. I will just
Bug#890600: gtkterm: No prompt
2018-02-17 Thread Pelle Hjek
Hi
I may have misunderstood the purpose of gtkterm, as there is another program
with the same name, described like this:
"GTKTerm is a small graphical shell like XTerm."
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gtkterm/
I was mistakenly expecting GTKTerm to be a terminal emulator and was expecting
it to show a prompt.
Something that may have contributed to my confusion is the fact that GTKTerm
segfaults when clicking in the "Help" menu, and that the service, on which the
project web site in listed the GTKTerm man page (
https://fedorahosted.org/gtkterm/ ) is hosted, has been discontinued.
Bug#890617: pyscrabble: No metaservers available and pyscrabble-server also doesn't work
2018-02-16 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: pyscrabble
Version: 1.6.2-10
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
When opening PyScrabble, users are asked to "register on a public server",
however none are available, and the game is not playable without connecting to
a server.
It is possible to run the pyscrabble-server package, but this comes with no
documentation describing how to register. The server listens on port  and
, and when navigating to http://localhost: with a web browser, I'm
presented with a web interface to the server.
This web interface does not provide the option of registering either, but
running `dpkg -L pyscrabble-server` indicates that there's an endpoint called
`user_admin`. When navigating to `http://localhost:/user_admin`, I get the
following error in the browser:
```
: tuple index out of range
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py, line 150 in
maybeDeferred
148"""
149try:
150result = f(*args, **kw)
151except:
/usr/share/games/pyscrabble/python/pyscrabble/net/site.py, line 71 in
locateChild

70if (segments[0] == 'user_admin'):
71return UserAdmin(original=segments[1], ctx=ctx,
factory=self.factory), segments[2:]
72if (segments[0] == 'xmlrpc'):
: tuple index out of range
```
To me it looks like pyscrabble-server is broken, which makes PyScrabble
unusable.
The result is that Gimp becomes completely unresponsive.
Bug#836827: pd-zexy: 'date' and 'time' objects missing (only their help files are in package)
2016-09-06 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: pd-zexy
Version: 2.2.6-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
To reproduce this:
  - open Pd
  - Click 'Help' -> 'Browser...' -> 'zexy/' -> 'date-help.pd' or 'time-help.pd'
When the help patch is opened, the 'date' and/or 'time' objects will appear
with a dashed line, and Pd console will print "date ... couldn't create" and
"time ... couldn't create"
When opening a file manager at /usr/lib/pd/extra/zexy, it appears that
'time-help.pd' and 'date-help.pd' exist, but 'time.pd' and 'date.pd' (which are
the source files for the objects described in the help patches) are missing.
I was expecting the 'time' and 'date' objects to be included in the 'pd-zexy'
package along with the documentation.
Thanks for forwarding this bug report to me. All 3 typos in the submitted
patch were still present in the latest version of Vim.  I have fixed
all of them.
I will submit the updated file to Bram shortly.  Since Nov 2008, I am now
taking care of maintaining the French translation (and Esperanto translation),
so you can report errors to me directly at ,
should you find more errors.  I have also made major updates to the French
tutorial recently (merged Vim-7.* changes).
Best regards
Bug#436514: amsn-remote-CLI is broken
2007-08-07 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Package: amsn
Version: 0.97~rc1+dfsg1-4
Hi!
The amsn-remote-CLI TCL script (located in /usr/bin in debian) fails
with this error message:
couldn't read file "amsncore.tcl": no such file or directory
while executing
"source amsncore.tcl"
(file "/usr/bin/amsn-remote-CLI" line 8)
making a copy of the script and adding an absolute path
(/usr/share/amsn/) solves the problem, and you get a similar problem for
migmd5.tcl. After changing into an absolute path there too the script
works fine.
The script amsn-remote has the same problem, though I haven't tried
fixing it as I don't use it.
Bug#382427: Problem solved
2006-08-28 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Hi!
At first I thought that the first lines of the form
Warning: Color name "Black" is not defined
had nothing to do with the segfault, but they turned out to be the
source of the problem. Similar error messages started to appear in
other apps (sawfish and gnuplot) and some googling indicated that it
had something to do with the file /etc/X11/rgb.txt. After reinstalling
the package x11-common that owns that file, the problems went away in
all the apps, so the bug must actually have been in the update process
of xorg in the debian packaging I guess. You may close the bug unless
you think it's unacceptable for XEmacs to segfault in a broken xorg
installation.
Here is the requested traceback, as can be seen it doesn't appear to be
a duplicate of #369165.
(gdb) bt
Since the crash seems to occur in the i686 optimized version of libc6 I
tried to uninstall the libc6-i686 package, but that did not solve the
problem, though the traceback changed into
Bug#368604: Cannot download dot-files
2006-05-23 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Package: bittornado
Version: 0.3.15-1
Hi!
If a torrent contains any files starting with a dot (.), bittornado
will refuse to open the torrent altogether with the error message
like this:
ERROR ( ) -
got bad file info - path <.filename> disallowed for security reasons
This behavior is probably inherited from the Windows version. It isn't
really justified in Windows either as far as I can see, but certainly
not in linux. A torrent-file which is affected by the problem is
located at
http://static.thepiratebay.org/hashtorrent/3470417.torrent/The.Chronicles.Of.Narnia.The.Lion.The.Witch.And.The.Wardrobe.200.3470417.TPB.torrent
Bug#351540: Zeroconf overwrites working IP
2006-03-09 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Hi!
I had the same problem as others have reported here. Zeroconf was
installed automatically and kept overwriting my perfectly healthy
IP-adress received through DHCP with a private IP-adress. I solved the
problem by following a tip to add "FALLBACK=yes" to
/etc/default/zeroconf. Since multiple people have experienced this
problem I really think you should look into this.
Bug#338051: Cron sends malformed mails
2005-11-07 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Package: cron
Version: 3.0pl1-91
Hi!
The mails I get from cron use utf-8 as charset, but they aren't marked
as using utf-8 (they completely miss a Content-Type mail header). I
guess that the mails coming from cron use whatever charset is used by
the system's locale, since it just mails the output from the
cron-script unaltered. But as far as I can see, the mails should still
be marked with the correct charset, as it make perfect sense to have
one charset in the system's locale, and another default charset in
one's MUA for mails lacking charset info.
Bug#294281: Problem solved
2005-02-17 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Hi
The problem is solved in the new version (0.3.10-2), it works fine now.
Seems like the previous version depended on the wrong wxgtk package.
Bug#294281: btdownloadgui refuses to run
2005-02-08 Thread Pelle Nilsson
Package: bittornado-gui
Version: 0.3.10-1
Hi
I installed the bittornado-gui debian package, and as a consequense the
following packages were also automatically installed:
  libwxgtk2.5.3 (2.5.3.2)
  libwxgtk2.5.3-python (2.5.3.2)
  wxpython2.5.3 (2.5.3.2)
Other relevant packages that were already installed include:
  python2.3 (2.3.4+2.3.5c1-2)
  bittornado (0.3.10-1)
Despite this, btdownloadgui refuses to run with the following error:
  wxPython is either not installed or has not been installed properly.
There is no other output.
The result is the same for the other bt*gui programs.
The curses versions work fine.
