Hi Ray,

Bug 303408 in gnomebugzilla has morphed into a request to allow more
fine grained specification of which formats to move. That request is
still pending.

Bug#308068: Sorting does not update hyperlinks

When sorting you can choose whether you like to have formats including
hyperlinks moved or not. (This has been around for a while but maybe not
in version 1.4.3).

To use that feature either use the sort dialog or set the appropriate
sort preference in the preference window. 

So this bug is definitely fixed in 1.6.x and later.
