This is pi-nredir, from pilot-link version 0.12.0-pre4

Build target..: i686-pc-linux-gnu
Build date: Jan 12 2006 18:33:07

pilot-link 0.12.0-pre4 is covered under the GPL/LGPL
See the file COPYING under docs for more info.

Please use --help for more detailed options.
 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/pilot$ pi-nredir -n -p /dev/ttyUSB1

Listening for incoming connection on /dev/ttyUSB1... connected!

 Trying 192.168.80.128... Connected

The pilot-link upstream author need some more information about this
bug. His question is:
Is this pi-nredir talking to a pilot-xfer on the net: port on the
other side? Or talking to a Windows/OS X machine listening on the
  other end?

You can answer it here or, preferably, directly using the upstream bug
tracker at http://bugs.pilot-link.org/1601

Thanks

Bug#315721: pi-nredir disconnects during hotsync

2005-06-25 Thread Holger Jaekel
Package: pilot-link
Version: 0.11.8-10

I am using pi-nredir to sync my palm and it works beatifully when I sync
addresses and
calendar. However, when I try to transfer files to my palm (media or
installation files
etc.), pi-nredir just disconnects without any error message when it comes to
the point
when the file is transferred.

This log is created, when I try to install Tungsten T5 1.1 Updater:

$ pi-nredir -p /dev/ttyUSB1

Port not connected, sleeping for 2 seconds, 4 retries..
   Listening to port: /dev/ttyUSB1

Please press the HotSync button now... Connected

Trying 172.16.139.128... Connected
$

The Hotsync-Log gives the following results:
