Bug#323357: problem with mondoarchive

2006-01-31 Thread Andree Leidenfrost
Hi Jan,

Yes, the binary packages won't install on Sarge because of libraries
clashes as experienced by you.

However, recompiling them on Sarge (using dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc
-rfakeroot) should work - so, compiling the source it would be. Do you
think you could do this? (If not I might be able to provide you with
packages compiled for Sarge.)

Cheers,
Andree

Bug#323357: problem with mondoarchive

2006-01-30 Thread Andree Leidenfrost
Hi Jan

As I wrote in my previous message it would be great if you could try
again with the latest version and see whether the problem persists.

Also, I've had an other look at the mondo-archive.log file and noticed
that it says pretty much at the very end:

running: umount /mnt/cdrom > /tmp/mondo-run-prog-thing.tmp
2> /tmp/mondo-run-prog-thing.err
start of
output-
umount: /mnt/cdrom: not mounted
end of
output--

Sometimes mondoarchive used to act a bit funny when a CD was actually in
the drive and/or mount while it was running. I believe this is fixed
now, so it would be great if you could retest.

Of course, you may feel this is obsolete because too much time has
passed (I wouldn't blame you), so I'll tag this to 'moreinfo' and will
close after the appropriate time has passed without response from you.
(Please do not take offence by this but rather keep reporting bugs as
you did - I'll do my best to attend to them as quickly as I can.)

Regards
Andree
