Thank you very much for applying my big patch.
However, I find just one file, 'src/mine/mine-help-ja.txt', remains missing
in the public copy, and also find that 'doc/ja/Makefile.am' is a wrong
version in <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
not a correct version in
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Here attached a tarball including those two files.
Would you please add/update them?

Thanks,

OK, I've applied them. Unless there's stuff in the previous patches
that you want to preserve, you'll probably want to obliterate them before
trying to sync up. (if you aren't sure whether you want to hold on to
them, you can make a backup branch before obliterating)

To solve this out, I hereby suggest that Daniel applies this patch and
the one you sent later after discovering an error, *to his archive and
its public copy*

I will then resync my own archive with that public copy.

In short, Daniel, better NOT try to apply the 5 patches you have
pending from me.then I'll resync with you.

Oops..., doc/ja/Makefile.am in the last patch has lines that does not
work for now... Those lines are for my working to correct the text
output of the Japanese user manual (I am in trouble with that work).
Could you please replace it by the attached one?

Yes, this is that one. There are actually five patches between you
public archive and mine. All these five are related to #364621 (ooops,
I inadvertently sent one...ignore it)

  Is that <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>? It
looks like it didn't apply cleanly and I didn't have time to investigate
why.

I'm finally partly moved into my new apartment, I've gotten settled
into my new job, and I have an internet connection again, so I can
slowly start to pick up work on aptitude. (I almost just orphaned it,
but doing useful work ... as opposed to what I have to do to pay the
rent ... is so much fun that I couldn't make myself do it; my standing
request for a comaintainer is still open, though)

  Daniel

Well, so am I...

The patch has been commited in my copy and sent to Daniel.

What's needed actually is Daniel to update his public copy with that
patch and a few others.

Actually, I'm a bit worrying about the low activity on aptitude. I
guess that Daniel Burrows is certainly busy with real life and I hope
that nothing more grave is behind the current silence. I've seen many
other issues reported to the BTS without much action.

aptitude being a key package in Debian and we are quite close to the
release time (and freeze time), so I indeed really would like to get
news from Daniel now.

Thank you very much for processing my patch, but no change for ja has been
seen in the repository, although there have been many changes for other
languages. I've been waiting for my patch approved to get in the repository.

I'd like to know what has been preventing my patch from getting in.
Otherwise, I can do nothing other than updating my translations for my
own sake...

Thanks,
