Debian compiles PHP with --with-gettext. Sarge contains PHP version newer than 4.2.0 and ngettext support is present. SquirrelMail won't load internal gettext functions because they are not needed. SquirrelMail 1.5.1+ will load PHP gettext classes only on woody (PHP 4.1.2 without ngettext support) or custom PHP build that does not have gettext extension. -- Tomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Just to get it clear, this package is also not useful for 1.5.x? Thijs -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

PHP gettext classes are used only in SquirrelMail 1.5.1 and they are not loaded when standard Debian Sarge PHP packages are used. SquirrelMail 1.5.1 uses customized PHP gettext classes. Our version is documented more than original php-gettext. We tested it and bundled version is known to work as expected. -- Tomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
