Bug#382935: xfs_repair fails with libxfs_getbuf: can't memalign 16384 bytes

2007-03-28 Thread Oliver Marx
I have the same problem. xfs_repair crashes on a 8 TB device (2 TB free). The
discussion on the sgi mailing list is very interesting, but there is no
solution:

http://oss.sgi.com/archives/xfs/2006-08/msg00256.html

It sounds like a joke ;-(

Switching back to xfsprogs from stabel solves the problem. The filesystem is
o.k. now, maybe.

Cheers,
Oliver

Bug#382935: xfs_repair fails with libxfs_getbuf: can't memalign 16384 bytes

2006-08-14 Thread Louis-David Mitterrand
Package: xfsprogs
Version: 2.8.10-1
Severity: important

I am trying to fix the xfs corruption introduced in 2.6.17 and fixed in
2.6.17.7 on a 2TB filesystem, but it always fails at phase3 (agno 6) by
eating too much memory. At that point I added a muli-gigabyt swapfile
and now I get this failure (see subject).
