I spotted this bug while looking through the wnpp lists. The package certainly looks very un-maintained with approx 70 bugs. I'm interested in adopting it. I took a look at upstream which now seems to be a project on code.google.com run by djmooch and which is active with a new version available. There is also an intermediate way to contact the maintainer: file a normal bug against the package with title should this package be orphaned (google for it for references) in order to explore the possibility of package orphaning. If no replies come, then that's another point in favour of orphaning. This also avoid the mail bouce problem, and it's a public statement, anyone can see Maybe it might be useful to retitle this bug, and reassign it abcde following the should ... concept above. by the way: I see Jesús has an account on LinkedIn... maybe we can contact him this way... The package description is: A frontend program to cdparanoia, wget, cd-discid, id3, and your favorite Ogg/Vorbis, MP3, FLAC, Ogg/Speex and/or MPP/MP+(Musepack) encoder (defaults to oggenc). Grabs an entire CD and converts each track to the specified formats and then comments or ID3-tags each file, with one command. . With abcde you can encode several formats with one single command, using a single CD read operation.
