Bug#529919: i3lock -d freezes kvm
Package: i3lock Version: 1.0-1 Severity: normal I used slock from the Package dwm-tools in the last time. Yesterday I discovered i3lock. i3lock works fine without any option. But if I use i3lock -d the next invocation of kvm (version 85+dfsg-3) will freeze the whole system. A system restart is only possible with SYSRQ. -- Neu: GMX FreeDSL Komplettanschluss mit DSL 6.000 Flatrate + Telefonanschluss für nur 17,95 Euro/mtl.!* http://dslspecial.gmx.de/freedsl-aktionspreis/?ac=OM.AD.PD003K11308T4569a -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#529919: i3lock -d freezes kvm
Hello Markus, * [22.05.09 11:29]: I used slock from the Package dwm-tools in the last time. Yesterday I discovered i3lock. i3lock works fine without any option. But if I use i3lock -d the next invocation of kvm (version 85+dfsg-3) will freeze the whole system. A system restart is only possible with SYSRQ. Interesting. i3lock -d emulates the behaviour of slock, so I’m a bit puzzled about why this happens or if your problems with kvm are really related to i3lock. Can you please try to reproduce this with kvm from unstable instead of experimental? If you can reproduce it, please tell me exactly which commands you issued. Best regards, Michael -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#529919: i3lock -d freezes kvm
Hello Michael, in the meantime I decided to remove and re-install i3lock. (Un)fortunately it seems that the problem is gone. or if your problems with kvm are really related to i3lock. The problem was not effected by 3 reboots and happened only with i3lock -d but not with i3lock and slock.
