Dear John,

thank you for your detailed answer.
I'm no programmer, I have only a little bit experience in programming
µC in C while studying. Due to my work I have not the time to learn
this stuff.
So it would be great if you could do this, also if it takes a longer
time. It's better to get the support later than never. :D

Bug#696175: lastfm: add MPRIS2 support

It won't happen with this version of the client.  It's pretty much been
in maintenance mode since about 2009.  However, upstream is working on a
new version here:

  https://github.com/lastfm/lastfm-desktop

While their main focus is Win/Mac, they do support Linux.  They're also
friendly and open to pull requests.  If you're not willing to add the
feature yourself, I'll put it on my TODO list, but it may take longer :)

Dear Maintainer,

please consider adding MPRIS2 support to lastfm.
It would be much more comfortable if it could be controlled by the great media
player indicator plugin for gnome shell.
