Perhaps if intel would document their hardware properly, and if system makers wouldn't screw up implementations to be backwards from the reference design, and chip designers wouldn't make variantions in interface for no good reason, then just maybe things would work. Of course on windows, intel writes the drivers, so they have access to all that stuff. Interesting - there is a growing list of models in the i915 driver that need the brightness control inverted. Please test the kernel package from experimental (linux-image-3.8-trunk-amd64), and if the brightness control is still wrong then report this at https://bugs.freedesktop.org under product 'DRI', component 'DRM/Intel'. You should specify the model of computer you are using, and the output of: grep . /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/{bios,board,product,sys}_* so that this model can be detected properly. Once you have booted successfully, try upgrading linux-image-3.2.0-4-686-pae to version 3.2.39-2, which is currently in unstable. This has later versions of all the DRM/KMS graphics drivers. So any fix to this I can except ? It's probably related to two graphic cards installed in my computer (Intel hd graphics 4000 and nvidia ge force gt 630m) since I installed debian wheezy sucesfully on my older PC with just one graphic card.,,

When did the errors happen? At installation time? Or when trying to boot the installed system? If the latter, at which stage, BIOS, GRUB, or before the display manager is reached? I tried adding acpi=off it goes far more in loading modules etc(gnome etc) but still black screen I have from windows partition access to ext4 partition of debian by using a program maybe I could send you any logs from there?. /var/log/kern.log should help if filesystems were successfully mounted, and logs written there.
