Scheduled.

evolution-data-server was uploaded in the mean time.
I also made sourceful uploads of evolution, evolution-ews and evolution-rss.

Due to some unfortunate timing, evolution-rss on armel did pick up a
dependency on evolution 3.18.

Emilio, could you please schedule a binNMU for evolution-rss on armel
with a dw on evolution-dev (>= 3.20).

Thanks,
Michael

Small update here: syncevolution currently FTBFS because of libical
(#824426), once that bug is fixed the package might be binNMUable.

Besides syncevolution the only package needing a sourceful upload is
evolution. I've prepared that upload in experimental and the package has
been built everywhere successfully.
So we should be good to go and this looks like a rather painless transition.

Michael

Bug#824591: transition: evolution-data-server 3.20

2016-05-17 Thread Michael Biebl
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org

Hi,

with the libical transition [1] finished, we'd like to proceed with
evolution-data-server 3.20. The auto-tracker at 3.20 looks fine.

We used deb-o-matic to compile all reverse dependencies, and only
syncevolution failed to build. I was told that a fix for that is in the
works.

Please let us know when we can upload e-d-s 3.20 to unstable.

Regards,
Michael
