While i agree with you the you mentioned 2001:e10:2000:10::1 does not
answer to DNS requests, 2001:e10:2000:16::1 and 2001:e10:2000:4::1 are
working perfect from my machine at Hetzner in Germany.

I poked the DNS admins here localy at DebConf18 to fix the glue record,
though.

Your DNS is still broken and I missed that, so we cannot actually update 
the debian.org zone for real until somebody fixes it.
Since your name servers are not actually reachable over IPv6 please 
either fix them or remove the  records from the zone:

dig +norec nchc.org.tw soa @2001:e10:2000:10::1
dig +norec nchc.org.tw soa @2001:e10:2000:4::1

BTW, if you want to keep the  records they should also be added to 
the glue records in the parent org.tw zone.

There is a problem with that.  I've seen several occurances of lookup
failures for this name.

Only after that, I actually looked and found out that you violate RFC
2182[1]: both available DNS servers are situated next to each other.
This causes problems with all sorts of stuff that depends on DNS, our
monitoring for example does not like this at all.

Please make sure your DNS infrastructure is robust enough.  Until then
this server is no suitable candidate for ftp.*.debian.org.  I'm sorry
about missing this fact in the first place.

the upstream for opensource.nchc.org.tw is syncproxy2.wna.debian.org,
aka mirror-isc.debian.org:

If everything is OK, when opensource.nchc.org.tw is added as

The upstream we use is debian.osuosl.org.

I see the reason why your mirror status cannot be read from the status
site.

Could you change the MIRRORNAME in the ftpsync.conf file to "
opensource.nchc.org.tw"? It is now "free.nchc.org.tw", but the mirror
status cannot find the trace file.

It is important for the maintainers to know where your mirror is synced
from.

Hi,

You should update your ftpsync program first, which is here:

http://ftp.debian.org/debian/project/ftpsync/ftpsync-current.tar.gz

Also push mirror for ccTLD mirror seems to be necessary. You can consider
setting that up with mirrors.xtom.com.hk (this is what ftp.ntou.edu.tw do)
or ask the mirrors team here for receiving push from upstream.
