Hi Gaudenz,

I'm mostly interested in Mimic and am willing to work on packaging.

We would benefit greatly of having Ceph Luminous and Ceph Mimic in
Debian at the same time. This would simplify upgrade workflow and
potentially enable interested people to work on packaging of Mimic as
soon as possible.

Please let me know what is your position on this. Are you willing to
upload the Luminous as ceph12 and let me and potentially other
interested people to work on packaging of ceph13?

Thanks for your report. I'm aware of the new release. As an upgrade from
Jewel to Mimic directly is not supported I would like to first get at
least one usable version of Luminous into the Debian archive. This way
we can point users at least to packages on snapshots.debian.org for the
Upgrade from Stretch to Buster.

I'm currently working on this. The progress can be seen in the
luminous/wip-gaudenz branch on salsa.debian.org.

The ceph maintainers team currently only consists of myself. I would be
happy to have more people on the team. Are you interested?
