Could one of you report this issue and the proposed change to the gegl developers? https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gegl/issues The Debian GNOME team is a bit short on developers right now. Bug#940190: gegl: FTBFS on mips64el and mipsel while it did built before
Dear Maintainer, I guess this issue caused also gegl not transitioning to testing and therefore another issue within the package gimp e.g. bug #939768 and a few more. I tried to reproduce it in a qemu VM for mips64el and hit the same issue. Running just the mentioned test it returns a timeout message. Therefore I guess that this test has just a too short timeout. Increasing it from 3 to 40 seconds make it succeed also in my (very slow) VM. Bug#940190: gegl: FTBFS on mips64el and mipsel while it did built before
Source: gegl Version: 0.4.12-2 Severity: serious Justification: ftbfs Tags: ftbfs Dear maintainer, The last build of gegl failed on mips64el and the last binNMU on mipsel failed with the same error. I noticed because there is currently a glibc transition going on and glibc can't simply migrate because it would make gegl not-installable. It's also hampering the libopenexr24 transition. Please look into the situation. It fails during the test (which is not very verbose). https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gegl=mips64el=0.4.14-1=1567544327=0 https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gegl=mipsel=0.4.14-1%2Bb2=1567544382=0 ./test-node-exponential FAIL test-node-exponential [...] === Test Results === tests passed: 31 tests skipped: 1 tests failed: 1 == FAIL == -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (200, 'testing'), (100, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
