The 64-bit AppImage downloadable from the FreeCAD website also has the 
same blank print preview behavior. It produces the following error 
messages in the report pane:


QOpenGLFramebufferObject: Framebuffer incomplete attachment.

XmbTextListToTextProperty result code -2

XmbTextListToTextProperty result code -2

This affects the version from debian-stable.

A workaround is to use the version installed from the Snap Store which 
works as expected. This is available via Gnome Software by:


1. $sudo apt install gnome-software-plugin-snap
2. Open Gnome Software, allow it to restart and update, then search for
   FreeCAD. Select the version where the source is "Snap Store" and
   install.
