Bug#961562: cyrus-imapd: Unstable 3.2.0 LMTPD broken

2020-05-25 Thread Sebastian Langenhorst
Package: cyrus-imapd
Version: 3.2.0-5~bpo10+1.1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

the 3.2.0s lmtpd gets killed by FORTIFY_SOURCE.
The lmtpd-session will never return a success, so the MTA constantly
retries to deliver the mail.
Cyrus internal gets the mail nonetheless, so it ends in endless
duplicates and a bounce afterwards.

Bugreport/Fix is upstream, will be included in 3.2.1:
https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/3035

upto then, the 3.2.0 package is not usable and should be patched/removed
at least from backports.
