Bug#341768: crossfire-client-gtk has problems with split-window mode
Package: crossfire-client-gtk Version: 1.8.0-1 when I try to use split-window mode with the crossfire-gtk-client, the client closes down with no apparent error message. It's just like using the 'quit' command. I open the 'configure client' dialogue and mark the entry 'split window' and after that I click on the 'save' button. I get the same message on the console as when I use the client quit command: [ INFO ] (gtk::client_exit) Exiting with return value 0. I'm using Debian Sid with kernel 2.6.11-1-k7 libc6 2.3.5-8.1 libgtk1.2 1.2.10-18 libgtk2.0-0 2.6.10-2 any more info needed? regards Günter Frenz -- --- Günter Frenz Börschgasse 16a, D-51143 Köln (h) [EMAIL PROTECTED], (w) [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Linux, Irix, Solaris, HP-UX --- pgpRpL0r3PiD7.pgp Description: PGP signature
Bug#595795: tgif: Does not open documents written with version 4.1.x correct
Hi, Am Mon, 6 Sep 2010 15:16:21 -0500 (CDT) schrieb Carlo Segre se...@iit.edu: Hi Günter: On Mon, 6 Sep 2010, Günter Frenz wrote: Yes, all three are installed. But the error message I just sent to you, suggests some problems with the fonts. Any idea where I can look for a solution? Ah, I forgot to attach the second file in my last mail, now it is... I think I have found the problem. If you look at the test.obj file itself, the second line is: state(0,37,100,000,0,0,0,16,1,9,1,1,0,0,1,0,1,0,'Courier',0,80640,0,0,1,5,0,0,1,1,0,16,0,0,1,1,1,1,1050,1450,1,0,2880,0). Now the files I have created with version 4.2.2 contain the following second line: state(0,37,100.000,0,0,0,16,1,10,1,1,0,0,1,1,1,0,'Courier',0,138240,0,0,1,10,0,0,1,1,0,16,0,0,1,1,1,1,1050,1485,1,0,2880,0). If I put your line in my file, I have teh same segfault and if I put my line in your file, it works fine. I looked at the file very carefully and the problem is in the third entry in parentheses, in your file it is 100,000 but the correct value should be 100.000. Clearly there is some problem with the way fixed point numbers are formatted and written out to the file. The comma instead of the period confuses the issue. I checked this issue against the first reported error message: it is the same type of problem, with script_frac(0.6). the file is not opened correct and with script_frac(0,6). it is opened correct. So this looks like a problem with an international environment (here German) where comma and period are used in opposite way than in English. I am not sure why this is happening at write time so i will forward the message to the upstream author and maybe he can clarify the situation. I am also putting this back into the bug report thread. Bug#820982: samba: Users cannot open their Windows session anymore
Hi, I had the same problem this morning. In addition to the last message I can add this for diagnosis: root@it-linux:~# smbclient -L ldap-dc1 -Ufz Enter fz's password: Domain=[OHM] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.6.6] Sharename Type Comment - --- netlogonDisk Network Logon Service IPC$IPC IPC Service (ldap-dc1 server) fz Disk Home Directories Domain=[OHM] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.6.6] Server Comment ---- LDAP-DC1 ldap-dc1 server WorkgroupMaster ---- OHM LDAP-DC1 root@it-linux:~# smbclient -L it-data -Ufz Enter fz's password: session setup failed: NT_STATUS_TRUSTED_RELATIONSHIP_FAILURE Contacting the DC directly works fine but contacting a member server doesn't work. I also tried to remove the client from the domain and join it again, but that also didn't help. My temporary solution was to downgrade to the previous version samba/2:3.6.6-6+deb7u7 (all related packages) and the system is running again fine. What else should I check? Bug#921834: exim4-config: Running dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config only shows first screen
Package: exim4-config Version: 4.92~RC5-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, when I try to run dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config only the first screen with the question for the general configuration appears. After selecting any of these the execution ends without asking the other usual questions. /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf was left with dc_eximconfig_configtype='' being empty. I replaced this with my backup and the server seems to run again. Manual changes seem to work but using dpkg-reconfigure. I have configured dash as sh. Any other information required? The script still complains about not finding DIFF. /usr/bin/diff exists and is working as expected, there is a second path to find it via the /bin symlink as /bin/diff. I'm also running unstable on my system, just with German localization. The second line of error is written by /usr/lib/tiger/initdefs in the function haveallcmds, but my knowledge of shell-scripting is not good enough to see what is wrong. Hi, I think this bug should be merged with #1001283 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1001283 I can confirm that a downgrade of python3-mistune to version 0.8.5-5 solves the problem for now. Bug#1050286: firefox-esr: only active tab visible in the tab-bar
Package: firefox-esr Version: 115.1.0esr-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Update to version 115 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Normal system update via synaptic * What was the outcome of this action? The tab-bar is now at the bottom of the window which is not a big problem, but the big problem is that I see only the active tab in the tab-bar even when multiple tabs are open. So I can switch between the tabs only by using the keyboard and have to know which tab (content) corresponds to which number (not more than 9 tabs accessible). Additionally the one visible tab-name overlaps with the content of the website and it sometimes makes links or buttons unreachable. Working with this setup is very annoying... Is this a bug or a new 'feature'? * What outcome did you expect instead? I expected a browser that is usable with a mouse...
