The chain/rope is not part of the weapons in any meaningful way, it's just a symbolic link which serves no purpose other than to link them. Hisagi's weapon is ONE weapon. The chain and two blades are all part of the weapon. I fully expect him to start whirling it around his head and throwing them around using the chain as part of the technique. Not a very clear distiction between the two types I know, but we will see it when he starts fighting. Debian Lenny has gcc-3.4 in http://packages.debian.org/lenny/gcc-3.4 but lenny doesnt have g++-3.4. I need older gcc and g++ as I have a lot of iostream.h in my code. Intent to take over: tilda
Hi,
the maintainer of tilda (Zak Elep) seems disappeared :) I wrote him a
lot of e-mails and he never answered me.
I like this useful program, I use it every day, that's why I've built
tilda[1] with the new upstream version and maybe I found already a
sponsor.
I think it's time to do something and I intent to take over the
package. On debian-mentors we discussed[2] about it, and Bart Martens
has proposed this idea.
Do you think there's maybe some reason for don't do it? :)

I have this use case: I have a bunch of patches in a folder and I'd like to update them to the latest version of the upstream software as easily as possible. It's the use case that a typical Debian maintainer faces when he has to upgrade the upstream sources and there's patches added there and patches that don't apply correctly anymore. newbee - newbee - newbee (no shell, compile, write ect...) i just installed debian and run KDE 3.3 with it. i can't find anywhere to access my networkcards. i have one card for the ADSL modem and one for the home network. i had redhat with kde before and it was very easy to access the network cards. did they remove this feature to keep linux to the diehard users? i tried the ADSL/PPPOE manager, but even he can see my cards, he can't access the cards either. i assume now that this a debian issue rather than a KDE update issue. Hi, I have installed lvm2 on debian and trying to run: pvcreate /dev/snap (when /dev/snap is a loopback file) and get an error "Device /dev/snap not found". My exact steps: 1) dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/snap bs=4096 count=1310702 (lopback file 5GB) 2) mkfs.ext3 /dev/snap 3) pvcreate /dev/snap Why ? Hi, I am using debian linux and i want to make a system snapshot using LVM or EVMS. Now i am having running system with one partition (/dev/hda1 of 30GB, ~7GB used) and i can't modify or delete existing data. I want to take the snapshot (one or more) in some point, save it locally and rollback if needed. My question is what better to use LVM or EVMS? What exact steps to make system snapshot and rollback with both of them? Note: I have the User Guide of both of them, but it a little confusing. Sehr geehrte(r) Frau, Herr, Ich bin derzeit in einer Computerausbildung zum Projektleiter im Bereich Informatik in Frankreich und möchte ab März 2004 ein Praktikum absolvieren. Ich habe schon während 3 Jahre im EDV-Bereich gearbeitet. Ich spräche ein gut Englisch (3 Monate in Liverpool Universität). Ich würde in meinem Praktikum gern mit dem UNIX-System und Datenbanken arbeiten. Ich habe gute Kenntnisse in Netzwerker und Internet. Aber ich kann auch in Programmierung arbeiten. Das Projekt von dem ersten Jahre war die Kreation auf ein Software wer simuliert Industrieroboter. Eine Person programmiert und diese Software simuliert die Roboter. Das ist für kontrolliert ob das Programm ist gut bevor benutz sich in Realität. Mein Projekt für diese letzte Jahre ist bauen einen Zentral System mit einen Linux Server. Alle die Computer werden mit dem Server vernetzen und ein Operating System (Linux oder Windows) laden. Das Ziel auf diese System ist dass die Verwaltung und kontrollieren Software sind leichter. Ein andere Ziel ist für Geld sparen. Weniger Zeit für die Verwaltung, weniger Personen, nur ein OS Version und nur ein Software Version für alle Benutzer, nur ein Operation für ein Update. Diese System kann benutzen sowohl alte Computers als auch moderne Computers. Die Dauer auf Benutzung des Computers ist wichtiger. Das Praktikum muss 6 Monate dauern. Ich würde gerne eine größere Stadt kommen, um in ein Institut für deutsche Sprache gehen zu können, damit ich meine Sprachkenntnisse verbessern kann. Ich bin sehr daran interessiert in Deutschland zu arbeiten. Ich glaube, dass Ihre Firma mit die Möglichkeit bieten kann, meine Kenntnisse im Bereich Informatik und der deutschen Sprache zu vertiefen. Ich wurde mich sehr über einen Termin zu einem persönlichen Gespräch sehr freuen. I do receive "a lot" of messages and use pine's filtering features to sort them out to different folders. The same thing happened with folder "IMOBILIARE". I have sorted there some messages after i've readed them. After i renamed the folder from "Imobiliare" to "IMOBILIARE" no one folder's open enymore.Each time i try to acces Folders (trash, sent etc) it rites me: ERROR: Could not complete request. Locked out of Root after attemting to change shells
To whom it may concern: I recently installed Debian Linux 1.3 on my computer, and while I was trying to change my login shell for root the other day with chsh, I accidently typed in an incorrect path to the shell I wanted. Being root, I was not restricted in the path choice that I made, so now every time I log on as root, I get an error message that says 'shell not found' and I am promptly logged off the system. Is there any way to correct this problem short of reinstalling everything again? I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide.
