I'll be honest... I haven't had to control it!  It starts at boot time and 
just keeps running.  I know I should do some monitoring, but haven't gotten 
that configured yet.

Ah... so there is nothing stopping it working with Debian, even though it
says "Redhat" for the binary.

Yep, we do on a number of boxes.

We've found that this depends upon the kernel version you're running.
Upto about (not sure exactly) 2.4.13 it all works fine, however after
that the web interface can't find any adaptors!

Apparently this should be fixed shortly, although I don't know if that's
a fix in the kernel or the 3ware web package.

We've found that this depends upon the kernel version you're running.
Upto about (not sure exactly) 2.4.13 it all works fine, however after
that the web interface can't find any adaptors!
