Boot con problemi di mount
Salve a tutti!! Ho da poco sostituito dei pacchetti principali come initscript, sysv-rc, util-linux mount dpkg e2fsprogs base-fles base-config base-passwd e altri che avevano il suffisso -knoppix tramite dselect. Subito il boot sembrava funzionare, ma ad un certo punto ha cominciato a bloccarsi... dai messaggi ho capito che monta la / e la swap, ma poi non mi monta la partizione su cui ho la /var e quella con la /home e si blocca. (non riuscivo ad arrivare al login). Poi, con linux 1 al lilo, mi dava ovviamente una login come single user ma senza le partizioni /var e /home. Passata la login, montavo a mano /var e /home, e la macchina riprendeva a funzionare decentemente (molti servizi dovevo poi avviarli a mano, visto che mancando la var non riusciva a trovare i file di log esistenti). Poi aggiornando il sistema con dselect alcuni dei pacchetti che già avevo aggiornato sono stati sostituiti (initscripts e altri) e a quel punto la macchina arrivava al login senza bloccarsi, ma comunque senza fare il mount di /var e /home. La distribuzione che uso è una ex-knoppix, e ricordo che quando partiva dal live cd partiva solo con la swap e la home montata temporaneamente... se avete capito qualcosa mi sapreste dire come risolvere questo maledetto problema? in quale file di configurazione sta scritto quali partizioni deve montare? e poi... come mi posso liberare definitivamente di knoppix? (anche se in effetti ti autoconfigura la macchina in maniera mooolto buona!!! Grazie! ste -- S t e f a n o C a r d o - windows? no, grazie...
