Bug#1018160: Konqueror is not connected to kwallet
Package: konqueror Version: 4:21.12.3-1 Priority: optional Section: web Konqueror does not use Kwallet. It does not ask to save passwords and does not save them. Note: Falkon instead appears to work properly and is listed in kwallet "folders" while konqueror is not. I have installed and tried Falkon as a test case. I am using Debian Testing with kernel 5.18.0-4 and standard packages.

Bug#705243: (SOLVED?) kmix: no sound after upgrade
I deleted kmix (which refused to start) and installed the veromix applet to get volume control. This solved my two issues: 1. no volume control because kmix did not start 2. the desktop system was freezed until the kde greeting sound, maybe, I guess, because kmix was trying to start (now the desktop system is responsive and ready to start programs before the kde greeting sound). Bug#602939: konqueror: webdav put request not issued
Package: konqueror Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-6+lenny1 Severity: normal Tags: patch When trying to upload a file to a WebDAV share with Konqueror, this does not have any effect and sometimes issues an error, that the WebDAV root does not exist. This behavior results from a PROPFIND request that is issued before the actual PUT of the file, to check if the desired resource already exists on the server. The PROPFIND request returns status code 404, as expected, since the desired resource does not exist (yet). However, the 404 response seems to be caught in another place of the HTTP handling already, so that the desired PUT does not occur. does kmail in kde 3.2 fully support procmail?
hello, I was a fan of kmail but left it for mutt since it does not work well with procmail (it requires to make additional copies of mail directories to work with procmail, which is simply nonsense to me). Just wondering if in kde 3.2 the situation has changed. I am using a backport kde 3.1.2 on woody. Re: konqueror java support fails again - suggestion
I have read somewhere about two fixes in java support. Maybe they can explain my failure to make java working in konqueror: 1. conflicts with the compiler: is kde 3.1.1 for woody compiled with gcc2.95? Java must be compiled with the same gcc version...is my blackdown j2re1.3 for woody compiled with gcc2.95? 2. In order to make blakcdown debs working with Mozilla a soft link is needed: ln -s /usr/lib/j2se/1.3/jre/plugin/i386/mozilla/javaplugin_oji.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins should I do something similar ?? Or should I throw away this non-GPL f** language from Sun people ?? -- saluti, Mauro On this machine no Windows system survives and LINUX POWER reigns UNLIMITED.

Also, when you had the sun tarball installed previously did you or the install script create any symlinks outside of /usr/local? Did you clean up before installing the blackdown .debs? I remember the sun install script said it would install everything in /usr/local/ so I have simply deleted the /usr/local/j2re1.4.1/. Anyway how can I check out any other symlinks ? kde 3.1.1 login manager

konqueror java support fails again
hello all, thanks for your answers on my problem. I put in Konqueror: path to java executable: /usr/local/j2re1.4.1/bin/java and the previous error disappeared, but when trying a java application I only got :' loading applet ' and nothing more.
