Re: [devuan-dev] why is the build so complex ?
Hey mtx, would ungleich providing a beefy(*) VM for kernel builds make your life easier or more productive for Devuan? If so, we might be very open for sponsoring. Best, Nico (*) Not sure if this is still politically correct, otherwise read it as "full of tasty vegetables", please. Bug#522922: Intel NIC 82576 not detected (8086:10c9)
Package: linux-image-2.6-amd64 Version: 2.6.26+17 Severity: important Hello! I'm trying to install Debian on a Dual quadcore nehalem box (supermicro X8DTT-IBX/IBQ) with an Intel 82576 Gigabit ET Dual Port Server Adapter (8086:10c9) nic. Current kernels from kernel.org support this nic, Debian's 2.6.26-1 on lenny and squezze installation medium do not. Manually loading ixgbe does not help either. Build problems on Squeeze
Hello! I've two identical Lenovo X200 here, one with Debian Lenny, one with Debian Squezze. For some days, all kernels built on the squezze machine instantly reboot at (about half a second after loaded by grub) bootup. I'm using identical version of the kernels (wireless-testing, linux-2.6, linux-next) and configurations [0] on both machines. Thread on LKML is http://lkml.org/lkml/2009/3/13/395. Anyone an idea, what may be broken or did you see the same problems?
