oh umm this are out of the main threat.. i want to use the
archive.debian.net interface, that's all, i only have help from someone to
restore, but i refuse that u said.. u are wrong, at the moment o wheeze,
ejabbed was many years outdated!!!

so if the problemof the out service was the certificate, common, provide a
http nude way.. crackers, please, repositories are signed! and in case of
pre-etch older systems dont use https as today!
its the most common solution, easy, simple and withpout problem...

and, about ejabberd case: many users asked to contribute with packages, but
well.. and in other words:

well as suceded to me, i installed similar case bugreport from onther (not
from main).. due are not in main.. bugreport are broken due if u install
from backport deendences are not good property set:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=859309#10

and its not the only case, there's many many...

it's nonsense said the outdated software are bad

bad its the non-patched software.. the poor tested software, so dont said
ilogic things...

so today systemd have two problems, two open bugs in debian track (now
archived due no have solutions) such as example the killing process
problem, this problem raised once again was switched... but anyway, debian
swict event contrubute to the effors of the other proyects.. systemd was
poor tested.. but most ditribution was swichted..

please how we can trust in software with some "dirty" practices, like merge

the vendor its not related here.. due the hardware are working prefectly
i noted some dias ago reportbug (made in pytnhon argg) crashed.. due i

my sistem after install sllim (very bad integrate to systemd changes) got
broken due was unnable to connect to internet.. so i report using a
cybercafe.. but the response was very very unconfortable..
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=859309#10 so please
people who can i report bug if the bug report was broken, and then
networkmananger was broken due bad integration of slim package? please, ...

please remember that it is most likely not Debian's fault that your device

i try to do manteniance as its possible for a portio to those people that
not have money, not have hardware and not have resourde to follow
capitalims or resources to buy a new fashion hardware, and mostly when
their current hardware are working prefectly and better than others...

seem many of debian does not understand that world its more bigger rather
their little opensource debian systemd only hole.. its very frustrating try
to help and every door are constant closing...

please try to understand that some only try to use their hardware that are
present.. not buy newer when their present are currently working..

of course i understand that every must evolute.. but too muct evolution
only have one end: extintion.. including the hole space will be a freeze
dark with oscure matter... so in those cases its better going very very
slow... and it hardware and softwaer still can be used why envolute?
so then if not broken, not update it!

in my free time, i'll try to colaborate to help up to date those packages..

al already knows that with apt-cache and apt-file i can made it, but i
try to able to made friendly the system before introducing in a more
complex and advanced world of debian..

in archive.debian.net the old web package search tool was available
and its a good starter point for search into older packages specialy
for squeeze and lenny distributions widelly used here for most
hardware (with our own patcheds backported from debian stable and lts)

i dont understand why the other package depends on that? of course, if more
a more moco-soft related will be packaged, this package good to be includen
in distribution,

its a common case in all mocosoft related... the main target its to use
more and more their "standars", i really hate all mocosoft related

so i think its better a static build inside all the code of the packages,
due its more faster and prevents a propaganda of mocosoft..

this "library" does not provide real funtionallity, its only to code "as
moscosoft like"

that its one reason of why dates are wrong

of course i suggested to made this kind of changes in a secoind fase,
like does with mednafen debian package, that includes many non-system

if this are the case most of the software could be packaged in debian

2) recommends are also depends (php-psql or php-sqlite)
3) adminer does not handled any documentatin around debian specified

4) install a lot of plugins but does not provide any hint about these
inclusion!

apache2 tody are the most used only in enterprices but at home users does

Long ago, when debian pass from "sarge" to "etch" there was a major
man-power drain, also a etch-lenny hole in package releases, in my
case, it was very frustrating for maintenance staff had to know a lot

Re: Why is it so hard to get sponsors.....?

2013-02-28 Thread PICCORO McKAY Lenz
in recent years the debian packagers have focused on licensing, setting
aside as much therefore important that the package works ..

I've noticed that some reports have response as "is not critical, is still
working," or else "not reproducible", or better "u can made a patch u can
made a fix u ca... u can.. u do that" co DD/DM has no time!! NO TIME!??

one can see that many DD have no experience in the software packages nature
in charge .. l this is main reason why the quality / performance of debian
packages has fallen, and because these characters to nosaber that I should
do such software are not interested in doing sponsoring

the mayor injury are in electronic/science and gamming part

unable to upload packages dsc files.. URGENCY

2012-06-08 Thread PICCORO McKAY Lenz
i try to upload my dsc packages and sources but i get key singin errors, i
generated the 4096 key and put in debian mentors profile.. but when i
upload this happened:

GnuPG signature check failed on XX.changes
gpg: Signature made Fri May 18 23:24:18 2012 UTC using DSA key ID YYY
gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found
(Exit status 2)
/X.changes has bad PGP/GnuPG signature!
Removing /.changes, but keeping its associated files
for now.

i generated a 4096 key and export a public key, upload to debian mentors
profile and what should do extra? Using SH256 etc etc and whateve.. etc

i put a public key en some server but removed and put again and nothing!
