+ Description is too short. Define emoji for instance. What contain
emoji data ?
 * copyright:
please mention in general comment what I have just opened #873028
for adding emoji to unicode-data
 * rules
They are no guarantee that .js file are overwritten by script
and even in this case your package does not build cleanly. Better is
to create a debian/build directory (rm -rf during clean) that will get
a symlink of script and data. Than run script on it.
 * debian/test/mocha: please you a copy on my runtestsuite script. It
will use installed version instead of source

Try to use hidden linking before doing this. Ask upstream hel, if needed.

I am doing the same with imageemagick and next revision will include it.

BTW do you need help on arpack ?

Re: RFS: libunix-mknod-perl

 Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libunix-mknod-perl".

I am needing it for perl-fuse and from one of my project that plan to
 access to dropbox using fuse.

   Package name    : libunix-mknod-perl
   Version         : 0.04-1
Upstream Author: Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services,
               University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
   URL             :   http://search.cpan.org/dist/Unix-Mknod/
   License         : bsd-3clause
   Section         : perl

 It builds those binary packages:

libunix-mknod-perl - Perl extension for mknod, major, minor, and makedev

To access further information about this package, please visit the
 following URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/libunix-mknod-perl

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x

Not fixed in my case:
lintian *.changes || lintian --version
E: autoconf-archive source: git-patches-not-exported
Lintian v2.5.1

I have no patches because for this version, I do not need then. For
imagemagick some version I have patches, but sometimes I need to drop
all (included upstream).

It seems not fixed

The upload would fix these bugs: 214089, 568413, 572669, 584180, 593838,
622369

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:

- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main
contrib non-free

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Note that previous maintainer was marked MIA and I will comaintain it with
Deng Xiyue

Notice also that copyright was fixed and DEP5

They are two lintian warnings that are bug on lintian:
- #607694 if you are using stable lintian
- new version: autoconf-archive source: git-patches-not-exported but they
are exported see debian/patches/series
(will report) and I have no patch for now

It break in __libc_start_main
_start

Yes it is dlopened

Seems so, more strangely using LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libdjvulibre.so
or LD_BIND_NOW=1 fix this issue. Will reassign to libdvu

Seems related to http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365209

It does not coredump. How can I get a backtrace ? using LD_DEBUG=all
option point to libdjvu

I will redo my patch using quilt. Ity will enlight were is the fix. It
is returning an exception if file are corrupted

There are three reason:
- you do not ship mk4dump that is useful for diagnostic
- you duplicate code and this is bad for a maitenance point of view
- upstream is more willing to help if we can use directly the library
as a shared object and get some bug case using dump utility

> There is people starting up upstream in finishing the long term fix, and

I am not interested with akonadi, and I dislike the need to mysql,
when the future will be nosql...
I loved kmail using plein old mbox file as strorage but I really
dislike to store in sql engine.

I forget to ask but could I create a git repo on collab maint even
before the package is accepted on debian ?

I will made the fix myself. It is a medium term fix. Long term fix it
to reimplement akregator using akonadi but it a huge work (see kmail).
I plan to maintain metakit until fixed akregator go removed to old
stable.

akragator use a embeded copy of metakit and I plan to use the so lib
instead of static linking.

Upstream answer by email but is not willing to do plain release. The
project is not an abandonware but is set in low maintenance mode. They
will fix other bugs in svn if we send patch. And they will help to
diagnotic if we give test cases.

Thanks for the libmk4-2-dbg, e.g. "MetaKit embeddable database --
debug symbols", will correct it after a few rounds of comments by
other dd.

[RFS] ophaned package glosstex

2006-04-25 Thread roucaries bastien
Hi,

glosstex was orphaned two month ago. However I use it everyday and I
furthermore I correct a few bugs and I improve it (hyperref).

Therefore I am searching a sponsor.

Regards

Bastien ROUCARIES

PS: GlossTeX is a tool for the automatic preparation of glossaries, lists
of acronyms and sorted lists in general for use with LaTeX and
MakeIndex. GlossTeX combines the functionality of acronym, nomencl
and GloTeX. Like GloTeX, it uses the same format glossary definition
files. GlossTeX can be used together with nomencl, nevertheless.
